Johnston Elevator — Local services in Clare

We have been going there for over 10 years and always had good, honest service. Then this last visit went south. I purchased 500# of feed which should have been in 10-50# sacks. They had machinery problems, so I ordered it for next day pickup. They called me @ 1:30pm on Sat. 30 min before closing, yet I live 40 min away. Instead I got 8-51# sacks and 1-36# sack. When I reached out to them about it, they tried to tell me that each sack was over filled to total 500# of feed. That was not true. We weighed each sack, and total weight was 440#. Under what I ordered, paid for and received. I even had pictures of the bags taken at the elevator of our order not being correct. When i went in to try to rectify the problem i was treated with rude attitude and treated as if i was lying. This is the first time, but...

This is not the Johnston elevator from our past!!! Thank the owner for having dog food at a reasonable price. The next week he jacked it up 10 bucks a bag.. definitely not the Johnston elevator I remember!!!! (garbage) it was $46.95 the conversation $55.95 he’s right,it wasn’t $10 if there was any way to give him a one star negative...

Great place to get all ur animals food and toys or clothes or good boots and they have really good service as well I was just in there today to get dog food and one of the girls came right over helped me out answered all my questions and then I pay and left super happy...
