Hands Down Too — Local services in Claremont

Hi, I went to hands-down, too with a large group of people, we got there towards the end of the night. And I could tell that they were in a rush to get us out. This was clear, not only in the quality of work that was done, but also in the attitudes of the workers at some point They tried to do my nails arm chair, There was not enough room at the table. Once I told them, I wanted to wait for the table. Once I was seated, my nails were completed within 15 ish minutes I had never had my nails done so quickly and had such a poor manicure experience. I came back the next day to show them the quality of work and the manager/owner tried To tell me, it was because of my uneven nail shape. I told her my nails are long, And that the work to make them even was never done. After that, she told me I could come back tomorrow. However, when I showed up to the shop it was closed. I got on the phone with her today to try to figure this out and she told me we have a shop one street away with the same name And she blamed me for this error even though it was my first time at the shop. If you are a college student in the area, they will not treat you with the same respect. They treat other customers. If you are going at the end of the night, they will not treat you with the same respect. They treat the customers that come in earlier that day, if you have a complaint about your service, they will not treat you with respect and respect you as a customer. If you are male, or non-binary or anything, that is not a woman, they will not do as good of a job with your nails because they will think that you do not care , I will never go back to hands-down. I will tell all my friends at the Claremont colleges to never go to hands-down. I will also tell the other 12 people I came with that evening that they should be honest and leave a...

The Pedicure itself deserves 5 stars. Wonderfully done. But there is some things to mention here:

After I was seated I was looking for prices around the shop, I could not find a price list sitting in my chair. The service was started without being asked if I want to have any upgrades. The lady next to me got wax booties and seemingly a different treatment. I was still wondering about the price around the end of my pedicure but knew that it was probably within the range of the area (between $30 and $40). I was a little baffled when I heard $50 at the register.

Like I mentioned above: my nail technician was great she did a wonderful job.

I would’ve loved to know the prices and upgrades, or have easy access to them.

Well I didn't get my nails done here but my best friend did and let me tell you. It was the most amazing experience ever. The manager let me sit next to her in these comfy chairs that give you a massage and they were so sweet and kind. The atmosphere was amazing. Very relaxing soothing. The music they play is very tranquil and calming. I was so excited for her she got a mani and pedicure. And her nails are still attached from a week ago. So you know they know what their doing. They are very polite and sincere. If you need to get your nails did you gotta come here. Plus the rate for the treatments aren't expensive at all.
