Leon & Lulu — Local services in Clawson

Love, Love, Love this store. So many reasons why I love this store…………. I love the idea that you can rent Leon and Lulu's for private parties. I gave my son a surprise birthday party there. The owner Mary Liz, made the event very easy for me. She seems to instinctively know how to guide you, and assist you in making sure all of your guest have a wonderful experience, in this unique venue. I love the fact that when you walk in the door, Mary Liz and her staff make you feel like a family member returning home. Two wonderful dogs Spot and Berdie make you feel special too. My dog is always welcome there as well. I love the fact that if you are seeking something different for your home, yourself or a gift you can be sure it will be at Leon and Lulu's. I love the fact that Mary Liz is always paying it forward and is involved in many charities, that all benefit from Leon and Lulu's. I love that Mary Liz employees challenged people, to do approaite tasks in the store and never fails to treat them with dignity. Leon & Lulu is an absolute treasure chest of fabulousness. Walking into this store feels like stepping into a beautifully curated wonderland — part gallery, part boutique, part cozy living room where every corner whispers, “you know you want to buy me.”

Their eclectic selection is nothing short of magical. One minute you’re admiring handcrafted home décor, the next you’re giggling at a cheeky greeting card or falling in love with a pair of funky socks you didn’t know you needed (but obviously do).

The vibe? Pure joy. Warm, welcoming, and just quirky enough to feel like you’ve stumbled into a secret clubhouse for cool people with great taste. The staff? Lovely. The energy? Immaculate. My bank account? Slightly nervous, but never regrets it.

The restaurant and store are both unique! However I must comment on the service in your restaurant. I just made a purchase at the store where I had wonderful service. I then went to the restaurant to purchase some cards. I picked out my cards and waited patiently at the counter for someone to wait on me. After awhile a blond haired woman with glasses came up to the counter with a customer. She did not look my way, or even acknowledge I was standing there! Once she was done with her customer she waited on me. I commented that I had been standing there and she responded “Oh I didn’t see you .” I found that hard to believe ! She rang my order and did not thank me for coming in or that she was sorry. I myself work in retail and would not treat a customer that way!
