The food was god awful. I may have even got food poisoning because within 30 minutes of leaving I was seriously ill. Had burgers that were burnt and a salad with half old lettuce and half really fresh. The buns which were beautiful with the logo imprinted were awful because the oil they toasted them with was rancid ...what a shame...the burger was so over done I thought the chef hated cooking and was taking it out on the meet. They offered to remake and then they were raw....and worse than first one ...so sad. The one saving grace was the tater tots ...fresh and deep fried in good quality oil ..so they were amazing! But the main event the burger and salad was not good. I'm sorry there wasn't a manager to learn how to fix ..cause the pictures look delicious but the actual food was not ... sorry to say.

First off they cannot cook a burger more than medium to save their lives it seems. Ordered a hamburger medium well came out medium rare sent back had it done again it came back medium but I guess that's as good as it gets. Fryer oil definitely needed to be changed. You can see the difference in color in the tater tots, the dark ones are the ones that were really raunchy. The waffle fries were the same. Burgers were not impressive. Being a burger place I mean there's really not much else to say the service was all right at best and the prices were okay. Unfortunately we won't be back if we stop for cocktails across the street again. What's he say, sometimes you only get one shot...

I had high hopes for this place. It looked and sounded like it'd be good, but where should I begin. I'll start by saying I did order takeout and I did not get a burger so I may be at some fault here, however it'll be hard for me to even give it a second try. I order chicken tenders, fried pickles, and a gratiot ave burger for my girlfriend. I was told it'd be 45 minutes before it'd be ready to be picked up, no problem. I accidentally leave late and figured my food was ready and waiting, luckily I'm only 5 minutes away, I mean really lucky. I arrive at the restaurant about 5 minutes past my pickup time. The staff was noticeably flustered so I tried to be as pleasant as possible. One waitress asked if I was picking up and I paid but to my pleasant surprise the food was not ready. About ten minutes go by before low and behold the food had been ready the whole time it just went unnoticed. I get the order and leave happily like I mentioned the staff was flustered from a previous busy patch before I arrived. I get home to open to little surprise very soggy food, but something was missing. No fried pickles. I call back and let them know that I didn't get any. They say no problem to me another order. I travel back to get them a few minutes after calling, giving plenty of time. I arrive and there's a lady picking up in front of me so I wait patiently. After she leaves I'm up, and expecting to grab my order and leave. Wishful thinking. As it turns out the waitress accidentally gave the customer in front of me my pickles, so I have to wait some more for a new batch. At this point I feel like a scamless Bubblebass from spongebob. Now I have to wait another ten minutes while my food at home gets colder. I get my pickles and still pleasantly leave the restaurant. I finally get home to eat and the tenders were extremely stringy and chewy I had to throw half of them away. The waffle fries were too far gone to be edible and my girlfriends burger looked no more appetizing. Thank god I got the pickles as they were the only saving grace, albeit quite difficult to mess up fried pickles. If I ever go again, if I ever go again Ill have to try a burger and sit down, but those chances are practically 0 after this rotten experience.

Tl;dr - missing item. Go back to get item. Item given away. Get soggy food and stringy chicken tenders, nearly inedible. Offered nothing in return for my suffering......

I have only been to this place twice. On the first occasion I went earlier on in the day when it wasn't very busy. My burger was ordered Medium and came out well done. I ended up ordering a coney, it was one of the best i've had.

On my second trip I tried a different burger and I made sure to let my server know about the issue I had on my first trip. She assured me that the cook that night was great and the burger would not be over cooked. The burger came out well done again. The server asked if the burger came out correctly, I told her that it did not. She inspected the patty and agreed that it was well done, but did nothing to remedy this, no manager touched the table to apologize for the experiences or anything.

On both occasions the patty was seemingly unseasoned and based on its shape was a generic GFS frozen beef patty. The toppings at this place, the fries, and the coney dogs are so great. but they just cant seem to put together a decent burger patty. It's very unfortunate. If this were "old detroit coney bar" I would give 5 stars. but for a burger bar, it was a...
