I've been here before. Four years ago when they were under a different name. So it seemed a good first spring ride-to location for dinner and a pint or two. A celebratory moment, of sorts. The place is a lot bigger than it appears at first and with outdoor seating available, even bigger still. The barside has mostly high-tops and three booths. The other half, and outside, are all low-top. The folks I interacted with were friendly and helpful and just generally nice people. I think that's fairly common with craft beer folks. Loni was a delight. We chatted several times when she had a moment. Keep her. After ordering my 1st two brews (Imperial Stouts need to warm up, people) I got onto food. One Black & Bleu burger, please. OK, the food is a bit pricey - $19 for this burger - after the fast-food lunch I had for $5 I needed to remember what actual food tasted like. The skin-on fries were a touch cool but otherwise good and plentiful. The burger was hot & juicy and a good mouth filling experience, no condiments needed. The pickle spear looked so sad, like a pickle's granddad, kind of dried out and wrinkly. 🥸 Still tasted good. The Chocolate Stout cake sounded amazing but for $10, I'll go home and make a cheesecake first. Maybe not odd to you, certainly was to me, they had the A/C on. It peaked at 82 F and is currently 77 with a delightful breeze. Open the doors and save some electricity. People down south would kill for this. One last note, the beers were $8.50 each and I stopped after those two. It's a long ride home.

Finally made it in to dine. Recommend reservations as at 5:30pm they were busy. Our waiter appeared a littie frazzled. The inside looks almost exactly like the prior restaurant which is great as the design choices were pretty cool. Love the vintage looking bar with comfy bar stools for a nice “belly up!” LOL We were surprised that at 5:30 on a Saturday that they were sold out of all of their steaks ! Hmm . There are a variety of craft beers and cocktails. The Heart-attack Mac did not have much flavor to the cheese sauce nor were there enough toppings for the price! The patty melt which was ordered medium came very well done and the bread was burnt both outside as well as inside. As if both sides of each piece of bread was grilled to a blackened color. The patty melt did not appear to have the toppings listed on the menu. They did take this off of our bill. The 1/2 rack of ribs were very small with maybe 6 skimpy bones present. The meat was good but the BBQ sauce was way too heavy and sweet. There was a German special of a traditional form of Mac and cheese for Octoberfest that was amazing. Oh, the poutine with pulled pork was yummy but could use less salt. Evidently back in the day they were known for their baked goods, all deserts are made in-house. The Brownie Sundae was good. The chocolate stout layered cake was really good. The icing a Swiss buttercream. Very moist!! The carrot cake looked good too. I recommend the deserts. The rest could use a good tweak! All and all a little disappointing.

I’m giving 4 stars because they are a new restaurant and probably are working out a few kinks. There a couple things some other reviews have mentioned: the hostess is on the back side of the building where the major parking lot is, not at the entrance on the main roads. Second, our food did come out relatively lukewarm. It was not as hot as you’d expect a freshly made dish would be. My critiques are primarily about the food. We got the heart attack mac and the GRB Grinder. While I do love the farm-to-table aspect of the food and you can definitely taste the difference, it’s about all you taste. The meat was delicious but it overpowered the other flavors on both the sandwich and the mac. There was no sharpness to the cheese used in the mac so it was very creamy and lacked in the cheesiness flavor. The grinder tasted essentially like ground beef on bread. You could not pick up notes of the giardiniera, jalapenos aioli, or onions. I think some modifications are in order to create balanced flavors in these items. To end on the more positive note, the brussel sprouts appetizer was phenomenal and I would definitely come back for those. And India, our waitress, was so kind, personable, and patient even with the tons of patrons she seemed to serving. Based on the quality of the meats served, I would come back to try a steak dinner and definitely for those brussel sprouts!

We went here while out of town last weekend with a group and despite the great reviews, we were extremely disappointed. When we got there we were seated quickly and as we were looking at options, we're told that they were out of wings and Sprite and did not have a remote to have the volume for the football game. We asked the server what they recommended and placed out order. Each party had a separate check and we told the server who was on each one. My husband and I ordered the chili, cheese curds, and Ruben (that was recommended by the server) and a kids mac with sweet potato fries. When the appetizers came out they had the curds and pretzel sticks another party at the table ordered and said our curds were coming shortly. The party with the other appetizers asked for their pretzels to be passed down to the kids. After about 20 minutes, we asked where our curds were and he said he gave the 2nd order to the kids which we did not request and let him k ow but nothig was done. Then someone came out and said they were out of sauerkraut for the Ruben. We also had a member of the group ask or the waiters favorite pilsner on tap only and after waiting they were told they had no pilsner on tap. When the bill came, we were charged the $15 for the cheese curds we ordered but no one in our party got to eat because he gave them to the kids side of the table so we got charged for his mistake. Between that and being out of practically everything we for sure will not be back. $65 for half a sandwich with fries, a bowl of chili, kids mac with fries and a drink. It could have been different if the waiter corrected hos error but charging us for his costly mistake was in...

My husband and I went here for his birthday dinner. Boy was that a mistake. First, we didn't know where the hostess stand because it was not near the front door where you might expect one to be. The hostess was actually in the back of the restaurant and you had to walk through the entire thing just to be seated. Then when they seat us, they put us all the way back at where you walk in. The atmosphere was incredibly loud. We couldn't hold a conversation because of the music blaring and the patrons having to almost scream over the music to be heard. I even put in my camera, which help to dampen loud noises, and it was still too loud. Our waitress came over and asked if we needed any more time, we said yes and then we didn't see her for roughly 15 minutes. When she did finally take our order, we Waited another 20 minutes for our food to come out, and when it did finally come out, our alcoholic beverages did not come with it. They were eventually delivered by another server and when I got mine, the mint that was used in my drink, was brown a long the edges. I was very grossed out and pulled it out of my drink. The food was good, until about the third bite. It was just too much. The chairs were insanely uncomfortable. It felt like they had put the back support on backwards. I was falling out of my chair the whole time and had to hold on with my feet to stay in it. Word to the wise, stay away unless you like an establishment that clearly favors the regulars over newcomers. As if all of this weren't enough, the wifi did not work. It said that there was supposedly a network, but when I tried to connect, it said network...

UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 5/14: Unfortunately, I have to post an updated review due to how horrendous my experience was tonight. We spent $225 on dinner for only 5 people, plus a credit card service fee, plus a tip. What we received tonight was not worth that massive cost.

We ordered fried pickles and cheese curds for the appetizers, which consisted of 50% of the basket being small pieces of burnt fried dough. The “cheese” curds were completely empty, just fried dough, no cheese. 3 out of 5 of our entrees came out cold as the kitchen cannot handle an order for 5 people at once. The firecracker burger was ordered medium and it came well done, super dry, no seasoning and no bbq sauce. All fries were ice cold. They were out of the rueben fritters. Their website also is not accurate to their current situation, the website claims the pizza oven is open Wednesday-Saturday but is only open Friday-Saturday in reality. Their menu is also different online to the menu that was offered at the restaurant.

I’m so disappointed as I brought my entire family here to celebrate a birthday dinner because I swore the place was great from a previous experience, but it was so awful. The service was a bit slow and disjointed.

I would never recommend this place to anyone, sadly.

REVIEW FROM 3 MONTHS AGO: Had an absolutely amazing experience! Our server Alex was genuinely one of the best servers I’ve ever had. All of the food was delicious - some shout outs were the Bavarian pretzels, firecracker burger and brownie ice cream sundae. 10/10 experience,...
