I received an email saying there were changed to my account. So I immediately contacted customer care and spoke with 2 different people, they said they couldn't see any changes and to email them the actual email I received and they would "investigate" (their wording) and get back to me. I didn't hear back so I called again a few days later and still no one was able to help. I had almost $200 dollars saved on my account from the diamond rewards, so I was a little concerned. I then attempted to go onto my account and change the password. It told me I had no account. So I took a screenshot of that and I sent it to the same email that said they were investigating and someone completely different messaged me back telling me I don't have an account and to create one!! Talk about frustrated! If I was basing my review on Ulta Customer Support, they would have ZERO!! ZERO STARS!
Luckily for Ulta, they have actual people inside their stores that care. I decided to go into the store in Clearwater and just ask for help. The people in customer care were not helping and obviously there's no investigation going on since it's been almost a month and no one has contacted me. When I went to the counter a very nice lady named Christine helped me. She knew immediately that someone had hacked into my account and changed the email. She then called over her manager Nathan who went above and beyond by contacting customer support for me, on his phone, to be sure that everything was handled. We did find that someone (on the day that I initially called about the email) hacked into my account and spent the money I had accumulated through the member rewards. Not only did he fix my issue, but he made sure that they returned my rewards. I was a little irritated that I had to create a new account, but so thankful that he was concerned and caring enough to take time to do this for me.
Christine and Nathan are assets to Ulta! I am very thankful for their help, as the main 800# and the 3 different people I spoke to were useless! They actually could have saved their company money if they would have acted on my initial call...
Read moreI donât usually take the time to complain about poor customer service, I just carry on with my day, but I had such a MISERABLE experience shopping at this Ulta location that I had to share.
My friend and I arrived just before 9pm to finish some Christmas shopping, and were grateful to see that the store was open til 10 when we checked online. But when we arrived, we almost turned around and left, thinking the store was closed because there was an associate closing all of the shades in front of the store like they would at the end of the day. We decided to double check and were surprised when the door was unlocked.
An associate power walked past us and said âhelloâ quickly and was gone. My friend and I both had to search for an employee to help us find the specific items we needed, though there were only about 3 other customers in the store. Once we finally found someone, we concluded after the fact that we had both been treated in the same rude and dismissive fashion.
As we were checking things out, saying, âI wonder if these items are...(fill in the blank with any question) while there were several employees around, well within earshot in the quiet store, nobody made the slightest effort to assist us.
I asked a question about pricing on an item, and when I said, âexcuse me I have a quick questionâ the associate literally sighed aloud with aggravation.
I was also told that the clearance price stickers posted directly below an item where it sat on the shelf was not actually accurate to the price of the item. Strange.
Neither my friend nor myself have ever felt so absolutely disregarded by any storeâs staff, As though we were an absolute nuisance to them because we came in an hour before closing and were done well before 10pm. We both only grabbed the essential items we needed and passed on making bigger purchases because we were so disgusted.
I will not be returning to the...
Read moreI called to get an appt at the salon. I explained that my hair is purple and I needed it done again. My head is 1\2 shaved, but I left that detail out when I asked for pricing. The girl on the phone said it would be around $86 to start. Ok, I am no dummy. I figured it would be a bit more than that. The girl told me my appt was with Stacey. I thanked her and then off the phone. When I arrived for my appt they told me my appt had moved to Lester. I said fine, no problem. Lester came out to get me. He didn't even ask how I was. He just led me to his chair and started combing out my hair. Then he tried to match my ends without even asking what I wanted. He then asked if I needed to discuss pricing. Of course I said yes. He said it would be $191 which included the 15% 1st time customer discount. That was more than double the telephone quote. When I told him that was ridiculous he said, "Fine, have a nice day," and walked away without even offering to help me get my hair back into the shape it was before he combed it out. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told he was the manager. I went to the front of the store and asked the girl at the counter to speak with the store manager. The store manager came out and took me back to the salon to try to book me an appt with someone else and to make it right when the Lester person came over and started whispering in her ear. I said forget it and walked out. I went across the parking lot and got a great price of $65 for the same thing without the attitude. You could just tell that Lester person took one look at me and decided he didn't want to work with me. (I'm a goth girl and was wearing all black and purple ombre lipstick.) You would think that a cosmetics store would LOVE to have a make up junkie like me in their store. I will never buy anything there again. I was mortified! If that is the manager of their salon, they have a...
