I got a hair detox done by Amalia, i found her on google as i was looking for someone to help me with my hair. It was dry and ends kept splitting really fast after a trim. I love her vibe and cleanliness in the store. I thought i was the only one who was into healthy shampoos, not many people care about the chemicals that can produce dandruff. Amalia affirmed the detox will help the scalp breathe, my hair being healthier and get rid of the dandruff.

She washed & rinse my hair with the treatment. After styling i realized my hair felt less heavy and more shiny. My hair was like that when i was a little girl. I had damaged and it’s obviously not the same anymore. But the results of my hair reminded me when i had it naturally shiny straight. I loved it. She told me my hair wont be the same. I wanted to prove that and she wasn’t wrong. More than a week has passed & My hair is better than it was before. I definitely need another treatment to make it healthier ! I walked in for a last minute blow out. I was greeted by Amalia the owner who quickly said she could squeezed me in. My first red flag should have been her ranting and raving about a conditioner she was going to use that hydrates detoxes the hair. She even shared it was $120 for the bottle of this Wella conditioner. I pay no mind but every chance she gets she brings up all the magic it does. Little did I know that this was a “$90” treatment. Marked to be left on for 20 mins and I was rushed to the sink in 10. Another woman comes in to blow out my hair & insists she needs to use the flat iron to seal in the product. As good as it looks we spend hrs doing a blow out that should have been 1 hr long. I was in a rush to leave but the woman insisted to add flat iron curls to my ends that the owner charged &15 extra. The stylist insists that the owner provide me with the price. After saying it would be 150 DOLLARS she said she would offer to leave it to me for 70. This place is a scam & my hair...
