I called before I arrived and was told that they did 2-strand twists. I was told that they did. So imagine my southern surprise when I only saw White hairdressersš². I did notice a couple of Black people getting their hair done, I noticed that the lady did not comb her hair and kept roller set look to prolong hair-do. I expressed my concern because 99% of people that worked on my hair looked like me. I tried to relax as she started preparing my hair for dye, explaining everything as they proceeded I was asking questions. My hair dresser was nice and while I was processing she worked on dreads for a Black man and a White man, she did a good job. I relaxed feeling I was in capable hands. Kudos to the hairdresser with the sweet baby boy, who gave great advice on how to get the best dye outcome.for my hair!⤠By the time dye was done.ot was close to 5p. ( not enough time for 2-strand twists so I showed her a Pageboy style that I would consider, she suggested an all over curl style I wasn't sure. She said I will show you. The color was great, the final product- not so much. I didn't like it because I knew those fragile curls weren't going to last 24 hrs. She was disappointed I didn't like it. I was livid! She takes me to the brunette behind the counter to pay and she tells me all hair is the same. I was stunned at that level of ignorance. I knew it would not benefit me to battle wits, she was a right fighter wherein the was no romm for logic nor common sense. I shall not return. It wasn't my first rodeo and my Aunt was a cosmetologist who did my hair every two weeks. And as a teen it took me a week to comb the culs out to get to curl pattern I liked. I was supposed to get a trim, it wasn't right- rushed and when I combed it the ends caught.š I feared taking a shower because of steam. I stood in tub to bathe.ā¹ļø 70 years and they believe I am too stupid to know hair I have lived with longer than all of them have been alive (sad & disappointing indeed). Most expensive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can not express enough how much I enjoy my experiences with having my hair cut at Hair Force. The hair stylist that has performed magic with my hair is Sarah E. She is willing to take the time to explain to you how your hair will lay from the cuts she will make. If there are any problems with the cut, she will make alterations for up to a week, for free! Sarah is a good conversationalist, and is also friendly, and kind. Very courteous as well. A great multi tasker as well, Sarah had another customer's hair coloring setting in while performing my hair cut, then as soon as done with me, she kept the work flow going with immediately starting up again with the other customers hair coloring and styling. Sarah is also willing to work around your schedule some, if she's able to. She arrived to work and extra hour before scheduled just in order to accommodate my time schedule, for which I am very grateful. And, from what I've observed, all workers at Hair Force are nice people. On another note, Hair Force also has a row of tanning beds, perfect for getting your base tan started! Thank you Sarah from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSuper excited to of heard so many good things about this place. My husband and I brought our one year old in for a haircut and he was sad and fussy the entire time. I was a little overwhelmed and of course wanted to just pick him up and take him half way through because I couldnāt calm him down. However Sherri continued to reassure him throughout the entire service. Every time I apologized she reassured my husband and I that it was totally fine. She was amazing, talented, & charismatic. Not to mention you can tell the environment is very accepting and friendly from the staff to customers. We will definitely use them for our entire family haircuts and services...
