This place is the worst run pharmacy in Hunterdon and has been for years. Every time I'm in there someone has some kind of issue with their prescription, but it was right next to my office, so I thought it would be the most convenient. However, the latest (and final) issue was them telling me they couldn't fill a prescription for my daughter, so I spent an hour on the phone with my insurance company, who called them and SUDDENLY they had the medication available. However, they only had 50 not the prescribed 60. Fine... So they tell me it'll be ready Tuesday. Tuesday comes and I call to make sure it's been filled... it hasn't. They tell me to check back the following day, still nothing. I got a text message on Thursday saying it was finally filled... however I was out of state by then returning Sunday. I get a follow up text Monday morning saying it was still ready. I got there Monday afternoon and they said they gave it to someone else, and to wait 20 minutes for them to fill it again. Fine... I went to Shoprite and ran a few other errands... came back AN HOUR LATER and was told "it'll be ready in 10 minutes." I wait another 20 MINUTES and the pharmacist calls me on my phone while I'm sitting right there waiting, and tells me they're out of the meds. The incompetence and indifference at this location is borderline criminal. My daughter has been without her medication for nearly two weeks because of the absolute clown-show that is this pharmacy. I will not be back... not that they care one way or another if they lose customers. If you want your time wasted, this is the location for you!
Edit: From the Walgreen's parking lot, I had my doctor call this prescription in to CVS and the full prescription was filled and picked up that day with no problems. I only wish I made this change sooner, it would have saved me so much...
Read moreI have gone here for almost 10 years for the pharmacy, they were always extremely kind and never gave any problems. They always tried to accommodate me especially with issues that occurred. I’m not entirely sure but I believe they maybe hired individuals out of school, but they have no clue what they are doing and are extremely rude that don’t listen to very much of what you’re saying. The past two months, it has taken about a week for a prescription to be filled that is necessary for myself to take everyday. They are very on top of this usually and I get it within 1-2 days. This past time, I called it in and typically it takes 72 hours for something to be filled which I am aware of, but they took 6 days to fill it. I went in to get it and one male individual said they didn’t receive it. The person was very clueless and were not working with me to try and figure it out or even look the medicine up to see what’s happening which was what the staff usually does if something like that happens. The pharmacist came over and stated that they actually have it but it is not filled yet. At this point, I highly recommend that you have your prescriptions filled elsewhere. Hopefully at some point, these individuals will be noticed for their inefficiency to do this job especially with having many people needing dire medications and with being unable to fulfill them and on top of that reacting in an unnecessary and...
Read moreDisgusting and unprofessional behavior of pharmacy associates. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never been treated so poorly than I was today. A "drug shortage" is a very scary situation for those of us who rely on our medications to function day to day. Their lack of information, caring and complete disregard for my questions was appalling. Both the girl who answered my call (refused to give me her name) as well as Bernard who she transferred me to when she couldn't deal with me anymore were so rude and disrespectful. That store needs to clean up their team and refocus on what it means to provide customer service, particularly the people in the pharmacy where sensitivity and patience should be a...
