3 people behind the counter and not a customer in the store. I ordered a BLT with fried onions over the phone. Good thing I came in to see my sandwich being made, as it was getting fresh onions put on it and...oregano? When I corrected the order, I was informed that there were "no more fried onions". It blew my mind that no one standing around had the wherewithal to go and make some, like every other deli and general store I've ever asked to has. I watched one of the young men at the counter roll up my sandwich, taking no care and completely mangling it in the process, and when I brought it home to eat, the sandwich wasnt even halfway cut through, and I had to RIP apart an already ugly sandwich. I can understand small mistakes, screwing up small details, especially if it was busy. This was just a blatant lack of any sort of mindfulness, from the taking of the order to the construction of the sandwich. It's not even about the onions, or I would have asked that they be made. Hopefully I'll have a better experience next time and be able to remove this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Just Subs in Clinton, NJ, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I walked in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu boasts a fantastic variety of subs, each crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I opted for the Italian sub, and it was a flavor explosion with perfectly cured meats and zesty toppings that danced on my palate. The bread was freshly baked, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, making every bite a delight. Moreover, the portion sizes were generous, ensuring I left completely satisfied. I highly recommend Just Subs for anyone looking for a delicious, hearty meal in a welcoming environment—it's truly a...
Read moreThe manager Johnny is arrogant and sarcastic confrontational. I asked him at the register why I ended up paying $8.48 for a meatball sub that in the takeout menu is listed at $6.25. He said that they charge $1 for cheese, tge price on the menu was $6.70 instead and a credit or debit card surcharge of 2% plus taxes at 7%. When I asked him why those charges without notifying customers prior, he stated “I’m not a psychic to know that you’re not aware. Really? Yes, that’s how they treat customers. Also, the prices on their takeout menu are not up-to-date. They abuse of those who do not question their charges. Unlike me that I want to know what I’m being charged for. I still can’t figure how tge arrived to...
