Kinda chose this spot on a whim, because the 2 other places we were looking to try didn't open for 2 more hours. Food was decent at best. Prices were a little on the high end. I am normally a big fan of fresh spicy tuna, but the sushi didn't seem too fresh. Also ordered a chicken Teriyaki plate. Wasn't a big fan of the side noodles on the plate. Wife ordered the Shrimp and Calamari tempura meal, Overpriced less than impressive. Normally bento boxes and / or meals have tempura and veggies. Service was ok. Food took a considerable amount of time to arrive. Nothing groundbreaking probably wouldn't return.

The is unacceptable; twice I had mediocre service. We ordered the orange albacore roll and they gave me orange slices and albacore. We order to go and had a day that needed comfort. It is close so I thought I would give it another shot. Boy was I wrong. I would rather travel across town to a decent sushi restaurant than be here again. We only went because kijima was closed. 15 for 3 pieces of albacore and 3 slices of oranges with a oil sauce. Looks nothing like the picture.

Okay so my husband and I spent $54 last Saturday there. The waitress was polite I guess but the menu was bland. There were pictures of sushi rolls but no caption below to tell you what they were. I ordered a $12 roll assuming that it would come with spicy mayo or sriracha. No where on the menu does it say which rolls come with what sauces. My husband complained about the same thing. The menu needs to be updated. So I ordered a $12 roll of sauceless sushi by accident. I ordered an $18 Godzilla roll and it came with sauces even though the sauce wasn't listed on the menu for that one either but it was way overpriced. Hardly any actual sushi and the pieces were way too large for my mouth because it was double wrapped in rice which is not a smart move bc rice expands in your stomach when you drink water so it doesn't leave much room to keep ordering food. Everything was shrimp and crab meat. Where was all the salmon ? What a sham. I probably wouldn't have even noticed that if the rolls weren't so plain. We usually spend $100 easily on sushi but not there. After the $10 tip we left, we only spent $64 and we didn't finish anything bc it just wasn't very good. Bland. I kept ordering spicy rolls thinking they'd be the ones that would come with spicy sauces but I was wrong. Even on the Godzilla roll it was skimpy w the sauce and for $18 you'd think they'd be zealous. The 911 roll my husband ordered was the only one that was sufficiently decorated but I couldn't enjoy it. Habanero is too much for me. He liked it but we like Kuni Sama and Yoshino's better bc at least you know what you're getting. My husband says the menu isn't descriptive enough and I agree. It makes it hard to order if you don't know which rolls come with what sauces. It was like sushi roulette. I'll bet it's frustrating for customers to have to deal with this same problem and having to ask the waitress about the menu is an unnecessary waste of time. Customers are probably taking it out on the staff that the menu is vague. I feel bad for the staff. I'll bet they have a hard time every shift. We won't be going back. Good luck. It's just not for us. Menu...

The waitress and manager (Sara?) provided the worst customer service I've ever encountered. My family and I came in at off-peak hours. My son was allergic to shellfish so I brought him a McDonald's cheeseburger so the rest of us could enjoy sushi at the restaurant. When the waitress saw my son had a cheeseburger, she stated we couldn't be here unless he went back to our car and ate there. I thought that was very rude to even suggest that to a little kid. I informed the waitress that he is allergic to shellfish, which is the restaurant's main course. She refuses to listen and claims that the restaurant's policy is the reason. As a result, I inquired if we could eat outside dining area instead since we were not allowed inside the restaurant. She stated that it is still considered restaurant property and that they will not serve us. I was so humiliated in front of my children that I requested if I could talk to the restaurant manager. I'm sure the waitress told the management what she said to us, therefore the manager has no choice but to back up her employee. We had to leave because the manager said we wouldn't be served unless we took the one cheeseburger out of the restaurant. She didn't even inquire as to why my son ordered the burger, instead dismissing it as a business policy. I understand that policies must be followed, but kicking me and my family out because my son had a cheeseburger despite the fact that we were about to buy food from the restaurant demonstrated poor customer service and a lack of concern for my son's well-being. Rather than trying to accommodate us, they booted us from the restaurant. I will never return to...

What a shame. We have been consistently coming to this place for years (and spending a lot and tipping 20%) - I’ll start by saying the food is wonderful. Today we came and the service started out poorly but our server was attentive, and got us the things we needed in a timely manner. Our server mentioned “I’ll have to ask my manager about that” about 2 questions we asked during our lunch. At the end, we ordered mocchi for dessert, which the server could not refer the price, but when we received it it was freezer burnt. We told our server who again….. had to ask her manager about what to do. We waited 20 minutes, watched all the staff in the restaurant talk about us, only for the manager to come over and let us know that that is how the mocchi is served. We asked for our money back because it was not edible (1 DOLLAR AND 50 CENTS BY THE WAY HAHA) and he refused. We had already closed out, which the server rushed on us, and then asked for our change back that we had already told the server was for her. We made sure the manager was aware that the money he was retrieving back for us was SUPPOSED to be the servers tip. He dismissed us, said “that’s fine” before we could even finish speaking. POOR management, awful customer service. It is sad that those servers are working under such terrible management, our server was terrified to do anything wrong. We will NOT...
