BEWARE!!!! The worst experience I've had in my 30 yrs of getting my hair braided. I would give 0 stars if permissible.

I arrived at the shop as scheduled only to find out that Ms Gina was not the person that was going to braid my hair. Ms Gina assured me that the braider was an excellent braider. Braider arrived over 1 hr late. Spacing of braids was not to my liking but again I was told "it will look fuller" as she got to the crown. I spent 9.5 hrs ( was quoted 5-6 hrs total ) in this shop and my hair was such a disaster, large spacing, crooked parts etc. It looks nothing like the picture I sent Ms Gina.

I voiced my dislike of the work. I felt intimidated because they were speaking about me in their language after I spoke up about my dissatisfaction. I was offered a $20 discount. This experience is so saddening and embarrassing. Everyone that looked at my hair mentioned the huge parts. I reached out for a refund the following day, along with half the cost to remove braids. I was offered to come back to her shop, and she would take out and re-braid. However, after spending so much time in her shop, lack of respect for my time, being talked about and Ms Gina not taking accountability initially and offering $20 discount, I refused to go back to her shop. I texted several times without a final response regarding settling matters amongst ourselves rather than proceeding to court. Overall, poor customer service and horrible unprofessional...

Gina has been braiding my hair for a few years now. When she started braiding my hair it was super short and I was amazed by her talents and skills. I was able to get knotless braids on short hair and I mean very short hair. I am happy with her services that she offers and the fact that she’s been doing an amazing job of helping me with my hair growth but she’s also able to help me with my Alopecia Areata. She’s able to see where I need areas hidden where my hairloss has occurred from my alopecia. She’s a gentle Braider when it comes to tension and scalp care as I have a sensitive scalp. Ms Regina was amazing!!! She’s super pleasant and nice!!! Her shop was nice and clean!! I absolutely LOVE my braids I got waist length knotless braids!! Her prices are fair and her skills are impeccable!!! I just left her shop and within 30 minutes of leaving I’ve received several compliments on my hair and gave a few people her contact info!!! I’ve found a new braider and I will be back soon!...
