Mamaka Bowls — Local services in College Station

They have a great vibe and good smoothies/bowls but lack in some important aspects.

Super loud since there is no barrier between you and the blenders and they have poor acoustics, so sit outside if you want hear the person next to you when they work on an order.

Also, they don’t have the best care in the bowls, I found a sharp piece of plastic in a bowl once the size of a dime! It was like that clear plastic you find protecting new store bought items, so I have no idea how something like that would get into the blend. I can count on my hand how many bowls I’ve had here, so it’s disappointing that an experience like this ruined this place for me quick. I come here literally EVERY week, it's THAT good. I always get the Babe + an iced gnarly. I love that you can see the fresh, whole ingredients they put into the bowls and there isn't added processed sugars or syrups or any of that nasty stuff in their bowls; just natural goodness! Their granola is my favorite and I always make sure to grab a bag before I head home to my family because they love it too. I usually don't do reviews and have been a long standing Mamaka customer but I could not help myself once I went to the college station store. First, not only was the location super clean and hygienic (especially the bathrooms) but my bowl was so fresh and yummy I bought another one to go!
