First time here. It is mostly tacos from what I saw on the menu. Ordered the El Jefe and two Matamoros Street tacos with fajita meat. You order from a counter and then take a seat and your meal is brought out to you. I don’t like that when you pay at the counter and it asks you to add a tip before you are able to evaluate the service. I selected the 18% which amounted to $3,37 and the only service I received was the food brought to my table. No one checked back or made any attempt to interact with me during the meal. Your food comes out without any utensils so anything that falls out of your taco you have to pick up and eat with your hands so make sure you wash them. Lol There is also no salt, pepper, salsa, or napkins on the table. You can go back to the counter to get napkins but I didn’t see any of the other items I mentioned anywhere to be found??? The inside was not really clean and I was the only customer for a while so we’re not too busy. My table needs to be wiped down and there were napkins on the floor at my table. The Matamores was definitely the star of the show in my dinner plate. They fry the outer tortilla with some type of cheese that gives it a unique and delicious flavor. The fillings are pretty good too. My three tacos, a soda, and an order of fries were $23.64. Another issue that irked me was the price of the fries on the menu is $2.95 but on my check it was $3.50?? Not a big deal but I do expect the menu to reflect the actual price you will be charged. Overall it was not bad but and I am glad I tried them out but don’t think I...

The parking lot was empty when we arrived. It's 7:00 on a Saturday night. Usually peak hours for a restaurant. That should have been our first red flag. Told the person at the counter that we had never been here before and they didn't seem to care. Honestly he seemed annoyed that we looked at the menu for so long. Offered no help with the menu or offered any suggestions. I ordered the chips and queso along with the street taco meal. Was very disappointed that asada was not a meat option. I went with the beef fajita instead. My friend ordered chips and salsa. The queso had a weird flavor to it, almost sour tasting. The salsa tasted like they just mixed tomato juice with cilantro and heated it up. A lot of our chips were undercooked. My meal was served on a paper plate with terrible presentation. Absolutely the driest Spanish rice I have ever tried. I didn't dare touch the beans since they looked like paste from a can. The tacos were extremely bland with little to no flavor. We tried a couple of the sauces offered by the drink station and they all tasted dirty for lack of a better word. We were not able to eat most of our meal simply because it tasted awful. Had absolutely no interaction from any of the employees. When we were leaving the guy who took our orders just stared at us as we walked out without uttering a single word. It was pretty creepy. Overall a terrible experience. There was no attempt at any kind of customer service and the food was practically inedible. Definitely will not...

Im am not complaining about the food. It was OK. However, you have a huge service problem. I ordered three tacos. you have a special going on and i questioned the cashier because i thought the price was to low. I said that is all for three tacos. She said yes, we aren't trying to scam you. I told her I didn't think they were but that the price seemed to low for three tacos. She said the price was right. When the person brought my order to me, I asked if they had included the extra onion and cilantro I ordered. He said yes we have. Its all there. When I get the food home. I have 2 tacos and no cilantro and onion. I don't know what else I can do to make sure you get my order right. Do I have to go into the kitchen and cook it myself and bag it u to make sure I get what I pay for? I never ask someone to cut anything I only order what's on the menu and expect to pay for everything I order. I just want to know when I get home, i will have all that i order. Shouldn't be too hard but I guess it is. If it was once, id be less angry but I dont know how many chances you expect to get before someone says never again. I like to support small business , I just wish small business was equally supportive of...

Read Google reviews and visited with family for dinner last night. Should have trusted my instincts - almost empty on a Saturday (college move-in) night! The entrance area was a bit funky with a queue/crowd stanchion pole plonked randomly in front of the entrance door and wet floor signs greeting you as you enter. Apart from 3-4 people at the bar and a diner or two elsewhere, the place was empty. Interior was a bit funky too though looked clean. Service at the cash register as well as with the food was friendly and excellent. Food consisting of Queso with chips, Street Corn, Matamoros Street Tacos (Beef and Chicken), Veggie Taco, and Cochinita Pibil Taco (make your own taco) arrived promptly. The chips were cold while the Queso was warm…the Street Corn was runny and flavorless, the pork in the Cochinita Pibil Taco was too salty. The Salsa Station by the drinks stand had runny, flavorless Salsa in the dispensers. The portions were ample, however, Overall, the experience did not come together as expected. Reminded one of a family-run place that is struggling to make it. Didn’t have the looks of a fully professional set up. Meal with a healthy tip set us back $48; felt it would have been better spent elsewhere, sadly.

Our friends told us about this place so we met them here for dinner. It was our first time we walked from our hotel but it was a bit hidden, overall the guy that took our order was friendly and accommodating. The food was so delicious that we came back for lunch the next day, we got street corn as an appetizer soooo delicious I got no crema ( sour cream ) for dinner which is the pictures. I got the street tacos plate Matamoros style bistec for lunch I got pastor, lunch was just as a delicious as dinner it was pretty empty both times we came in but I guess cause it’s a bit hidden in that shopping square also cause we came during a weekday. The tomatillo salsa was not spicy to me but it was delicious I should have gotten a Serrano for lunch and I forgot. My husband was trying to get Barbacoa tacos for lunch but they were out, the guy at the front was super apologetic which we totally understand he just order carnitas and bistec instead. We will definitely be back for breakfast! Since that’s what we have not tried yet.
