Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply — Local services in College Station

I went to Murdochs in College Station during its grand opening celebrations and everyone was so nice and welcoming. The store was well organized, clean and had a variety of Farm and Ranch supplies from baby chicks, to pet supplies to clothes and fun novelty items. It was fun just to walk around and look at everything. I only have one negative. The entrance is a bit of a large concrete ramp with big ridges or grooves and no paint marking the end of it or the curb that I could see. Unfortunately, an elderly woman caught her Walker in one of those deep ridges and flew face first over the top of her Walker landing on her face on the concrete. She was seriously injured with pools of blood everywhere and I was surprised and frankly a bit disappointed at the lack of care or concern or leadership showed by store management. It was serious and an ambulance eventually came but she was on the ground for quite some time, while festivities continued. It was frankly a bit traumatizing for me and I can only imagine how this poor woman felt. I do not know the full extent of her injuries, but I do know It wasn't her fault.... that entrance is not well marked and is quite treacherous for the elderly or disabled. They need to look at ways to make their entrance more safe for...

I really want to like this store but I dont. I have gone several times and bought everything from toys to cattle cubes to clothes.... and I usually regret my decision😕. They try to be helpful but usually just waste time not actually doing anything. They have some deceptive pricing and it always seems that when I check out there is some reason my price is not as advertised 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. The prices are high and I would only attempt to buy during one of there sales (if you actually get the sale price).

My past experiences at Murdoch’s have been very disappointing. I’ve tried to give this store multiple chances many times, but it seems every time is still the same. First of all, one of the cashier’s, James, is extremely hostile. I overheard him complain about his team, calling them stupid among other harsh things.
