T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods — Local services in Collier Township

This is a really good one TJMaxx. Usually they are either or but iv never visited one that was a combination of both TJ and Home goods. We went here to look for plant pots which are usually very reasonably priced at any of the Marshalls, TJMaxx store. Needless to say they had a great variety. Their home ware collection in general was pretty impressive. I saw tons of bar and dinner ware which I haven't seen in any other store. The parking is free and plenty at least the time we went here( mother's day evening). The mall around it also has a lot more other stores. I would say though that their staff wasn't very helpful when it came to giving discounts for broken objects. I found something which was one of a kind bit had a very noticeable chip on it. I asked if I could get some money off as I could repair it at home and This was the only one on display in the store. They made me wait for the longest time and then told me that since it was an expensive piece ($40) they couldn't give me their usual 10% discount. And would only give a $1 off. That explanation d idnt really make sense to me but since I was getting late I just thanked them for trying and paid. Just a little something, I realize it's no biggie but I've seen them handle this so much better at other places. Still, I would recommend this...

I have loved TJ MAXX forever and never was fortunate enough to have a Home Goods with the TJ MAXX I grew up with. This was amazing. They had everything we needed at a very lovely price. Even found a beautiful flannel shirt I needed but didn't but did. We ended up getting a giant cookie/candy jar, a basket for on top of the fridge and then a cat litter mat that I bought elsewhere for double so I returned that one. The staff was so friendly. It was just a great experience and brought back so many memories. I used to buy military ball "gowns" at one years ago and nobody ever knew. This store must have decided after the merge to keep the tjm quality products, listed at Home Goods prices. I used to love shopping here, growing up on the stores clothes and other products. I visited yesterday and it seemed like the second run, slightly damaged, or just somewhat cheaper quality is still their hallmark, but that they've lost the "at a really affordable price" hook that went with it. Maybe as a busy parent of 4 that had limited time I just didn't dig enough for deals, but I felt like there just wasn't anything that stood out as a strong deal here anymore.
