Marshalls — Local services in Colonial Heights

So usually love this store and location but weirdest experience tonight. I purchased a set of identical dumbbells. There were no other matches by size color or brand except for these two that matched but one was marked down on clearance to $8 and the other was full price at $9.99. Both had no damage and were identical I asked the cashier was she going to give them to me for the clearance price..she said no..I was baffled why would one of a matched set be $2 dollars more? It was the principle bot the dollar amount that irritated me. She had no logical 3xplanation so she asked her manager to come over. She told me because one came to the store ..now remember this is a matching pair..as in 2. By size brand and color and weight...that was why it's a price difference..I asked her could she give both at the marked do1n price. She said no and walked off. Great customer service...(I'm clearly...

I don't remember ever being in another retail store with such nice service. At the door I was greeted by the store manager and he was very kind in giving me directions to what I was looking for. After a couple of minutes he even searched for me in the store to show me some of the items I was interested in had a markdown price. Even though at the end I did not get the items I felt appreciated and that makes a huge difference. And I didn't even mention how organized the things are. Nothing like other retail stores where everything just seems to be thrown together on the racks. The building was will light and just had a comfortable atmosphere. Cannot recommend this...

I like this store! I almost always find an article of clothing, shoes, and personal products to purchase. I enjoy the housewares section as well. They get some great seasonal items in. Even at Christmas, when stores are usually in disarray, they are neat and clean. I shop here often and recommend it. The staff is usually friendly and kind, the store is well kept, and the merchandise is generally good quality and in good condition. My only complaint is that the clothing racks could be organized better for easier shopping. However, they are not a huge pain. And wider isles! Wider isles mean less merchandise, so I get it! I still like this...
