I recently visited this location after being overseas since 2020. Metal notes: I was frequent guest of Panera Bread while I was stationed in Colorado Springs 2012-2020. February is my birthday month. Review So I arrived to the facility and upon arrival there’s a hand written sign on the door stating what they our out off. Looked very tacky to me. I proceed to the counter to place my order and noticed that they’re low on pastries. I place my order and the and upon order completion the person working behind the register asked me if wanted to buy a pastry, I was confused because they didn’t have any. As a club member, I provided my phone number. I didn’t have any offers. Furthermore, I remembered that February is my birthday month and I told the person working behind the register and she tells me that there’s nothing for me because my birthday was earlier in the month. I asked for a military discount and she said they didn’t offer it. I replied, oh that’s too bad, maybe next time. I pay for my food, while paying the machine asked me to tip. I was confused! Why would I tip? What are the employees doing for me? Are they going to wait on me while I dine? Are they going to ensure my drink is topped off? Are they going to ensure the tables in the lobby are clean? Will they bring my purchases to my table? No! I didn’t tip. Then I go to the lobby to sit and wait for my food. To my surprise, the lobby was messy. Tables are dirty, employees are sitting in the lobby talking about work and iterate customers, and having unprofessional conversations in the lobby in front of customers. I presume that these individuals if not individual is management (heavy/overweight white male with facial hair). While he is seated with a female who mentioned she works are Hardee’s I along with other customers heard that he wants people to come and work not just come and collect a paycheck. But, what is he doing? Leadership comes in many ways and if management is seated in the lobby taking about customers and employees in the presence of customers and employees that makes for a very toxic environment. I beg that Panera Bread reviews this situation and address this type of behavior as it’s very unprofessional. No wonder employees don’t want to work here. I...
Read moreI have not been to this location since August. Why? Previously, when I was here, it took forever to get 1 croissant. Also, this place was my wife's go-to place for her croissants. She said the last one was doughy, not flakey, and did not taste like the croissants we got here previously. She was right. I did not go back. Panera gave me a $3 credit, and I decided to give this location one more chance. Did things change. No. I ordered 1 blueberry muffin on the kiosk at 10:48. Sat down. There were only 2 orders on the screen. A person ahead of me and mine. 1 minute later, the other person's order was ready. A couple minutes go by. My order, nothing. Then orders start falling under mine, one after another. Now 6 orders on the screen. More time passes. Still mine, nothing. I was about to go to the man up front and ask if he could just put the muffin 5 feet away from him in a bag and give it to me. Finally, 10:56, 8 minutes later... I get my 1 blueberry muffin. 8 minutes for someone to walk 20 feet, put a muffin and napkin in a bag, attach receipt to bag, and call my name. Napkins...none available at counter and completely out at coffee station. Got home.I'm disappointed again. The taste of this pastry was substandard. Until something changes at this location. I will not be returning or recommending this location. UPDATE Within 30 minutes of me posting this and giving feedback online that was sent to my email account, the manager of this location called me. I told her my past/recent experience(s) with this location, and she assured me that she would look into my observations and concerns for...
Read moreEven though we ordered take out we had to sit there and wait for it. But my daughter ordered these flatbread pizzas that looked so scrumptious and although I didn't try them I'm sure they were. We had a sweet customer service rep I didn't get her name I wasn't really paying attention to her name tag. But I do know one thing she was very sweet and polite. And very knowledgeable about her job. And she had the most beautiful smile I have to say that because that's very important to me when I come into a restaurant I'm looking for that customer service rep to greet me with a smile. So I am thankful for that a smile always make someone's day a little bit better. Now I had the teriyaki chicken bowl. It was the first time I had ever had it. I've actually only been in Panera in my whole lifetime about four times. But every time I go in the food is absolutely amazing. And the customer service has always been excellent. So I'm going to give you a rave review. I'm definitely going to recommend this Panera whether you are passing through or you live locally come and get you some good food some good customer service and the restaurants are usually pretty clean. Thank you again for the wonderful food and for the great customer service. See you sometime in the...
