I found out about this place via one of their mailers, it was eye catching enough to stop me from tossing it. Since this place is newer, I decided to write a longer review to support a local business.
-------------- The Food -------------------
I'll start off saying this place has some of the best fried chicken in Colorado Springs, which seems to be lacking good chicken places.
We got the following: Steamed Rice Mozzarella Sticks Honey Garlic (Drumsticks) Hot BBQ (Tenders)
The portions are generous, which makes sense because the chicken is on the more pricier end and our order required us to get a side separate.
The Honey Garlic was delicious and some of the best flavored chicken I've had. The drumsticks were large, so don't be scared off that most orders of chicken are between 5-6 drumsticks. They are meaty and well worth it. The fried breading on this chick is excellent and holds up well to the sauce without getting mushy or constantly falling off the chicken.
We also tried the Hot BBQ as tenders, and it's definitely true to it's name. It is not just 'hot' to mild palettes (like the people who normally think mild wings are too spicy), it is genuinely spicy and deliciously sweet. Be warned, if your body is weird about hot food, this may not be for you. I thought it was excellent.
The steamed white rice was exactly what you'd expect. Nothing more, nothing less, the portion is solid for the $2 they charged.
The Mozzarella Sticks were also deliciously fried and had a nice texture however... my order did not have marinara sauce or any kind of dipping sauce like most people would expect. Not sure if it was missing from my order, but if it doesn't normally come with some kind of sauce, it should.
------------- The Service ----------------
The person who answered the phone was a little difficult to understand, however she did an excellent job repeating my orders back for confirmation and was very pleasant on the phone.
When I arrived, I was helped quickly. The gentleman who checked me out was direct and to the point, still friendly but I could tell they were busy. I tipped for my order despite doing pick-up because of the fast and efficient service.
-------------- Atmosphere ----------------
Overall this is a great place for some delicious take-out, my biggest and only complaint was that the interior seemed very basic and as someone who loves Korean culture, I think bringing a little bit more of that into the atmosphere would make it more inviting to dine in. The seating was what you'd expect to find at a chain store or a branded store, not bad but not really unique.
I would definitely recommend this place and will be...

Read moreFull story: me and 2 friends came into this place after a bad experience of cold food at a dinner nearby, we were happy and excited to try something new. One of my friends had 1 beer at the dinner while we waited for our food, she was by no means drunk or belligerent. We ordered our food and drinks at the counter and the owner was nice at first; my friend ordered a beer with her meal, it is typical for places like this to hand you your drink after you pay while you wait for your food. My friend didn't receive her drink so she went up to the counter after waiting a bit to ask for it while we wait. The owner then accused her of never purchasing a beer and trying to steal from them, my friend rightfully was offended and showed the receipt with the beer listed on it. Rather than acting like a rational human being the owner preceded to yell at my friend and called her a drunk while threatening to call the police when my friend requested a refund if they wouldn't serve her the beer she ordered.
The lady at the front counter was very rude to me and my friends. She tried to not give us one of our drinks that we ordered and threatened to call the police on us when we showed her the receipt with the drink on it. I would not recommend going here if you have a disability whatsoever. They are very discriminatory and it is not a good environment 0 out of 10 Edit to reply to owner: that is not what happened. I wasn't the one that ordered the beer by the way. Your wife was the one that yelled at her first, my friend had every right to defend herself and request a refund so we could leave. She had 1 beer beforehand and you decided to be an asshole. She didn't do anything to provoke you besides asking for her drink. The police wouldn't have sided with you for trying to refuse to give us what we paid for. Your wife needs to work on her manners and y'all shouldn't serve alcohol if you cant handle...
