My family was looking for a place to eat before doing some hiking, and this place received excellent reviews, so that’s where we went. Since it was lunch time, they had a special for $11.99. That included 6 wings, 5 chicken tenders or 3 drumsticks. You also got your choice of white rice, salad with a soy dressing or fries. You could get your pick of the sauces, and they had a large variety. My son and I both had the hot BBQ on chicken legs, and although that sauce showed having two chiles as the spice level, we didn’t find the heat to be excessive at all. My wife had the sweet onion, which did have a $2 up charge, on tenders. The chicken legs were massive. With the perfectly seasoned fries I had ordered, I was plenty full. My son finished his meal and was very satisfied. My wife couldn’t finish all her chicken tenders; she said it was just too much food. The owners were quite friendly and gave us lots of advice on what to try. We appreciated their help since the menu is almost overwhelming with choices! The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there’s plenty of parking available. If you’re near the Garden of the Gods, this is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat, especially over the lunch hour.

The food at 92 Chicken CO Springs exceeded my expectations! The flavors are spot-on. I had the yangnyeom and red hot drumsticks, sweet onion curry wings, soy spring onion tenders, daikon pickled radish, and galbi. The flavors: - Yangnyeom drumsticks: Tangy, sweet, with a very subtle spice. -Sweet onion curry wings: My favorite. Smothered in a sweet onion cream sauce with thinly sliced raw onions on top. I recommend biting into each crispy wing with the onion and sauce together. - Soy spring onion tenders:My partner's favorite. The spring onion garnish adds a fresh crunch that complements the sweet soy sauce perfectly. The nugget tenders are bite-sized and easy to pop in your mouth. - Galbi: Nice BBQ flavor with sweet soy sauce, not overwhelmingly sweet. WOW FACTOR: the crispy crunch even with all the sauces on top! To tie it all together, the daikon pickled radish is refreshing and homemade. They have a large assortment of various popular Asian drinks like the canned Thai boba tea i had. The atmosphere is chill, and the owners and staff are friendly. Oh.. they have korean snacks, too!

Y’all, this Korean fried chicken place is LEGIT! Im Korean and born and raised in LA where they have real good korean food. Moving out here in the Springs, this place is the spot for authentic Korean fried chicken. I wished they opened sooner because no other Korean fried chicken place tops this restaurant in the springs area. (Ive tried all the other Korean fried chicken places and this one EXCEEDS, all my friends said the same thing) The crispy fry and juicy chicken meat is exactly what I expect from Korean style fried chicken and they over DELIVERED that expectation. You will not be disappointed at all. The owner is proud of their work and if I ever cooked up fried chicken like this, I’d be just as proud. I can tell how much they care about their service and quality which makes the experience very welcoming and enjoyable. Oh, and the tteokbokki (떡볶이) tastes just like the street food tteokbokki in Korea. I was so impressed. This restaurant is AUTHENTIC and legitimate with their Korean style chicken. I promise, this is the spot to go for Korean fried chicken in the springs area.

I found out about this place via one of their mailers, it was eye catching enough to stop me from tossing it. Since this place is newer, I decided to write a longer review to support a local business.

-------------- The Food -------------------

I'll start off saying this place has some of the best fried chicken in Colorado Springs, which seems to be lacking good chicken places.

We got the following: Steamed Rice Mozzarella Sticks Honey Garlic (Drumsticks) Hot BBQ (Tenders)

The portions are generous, which makes sense because the chicken is on the more pricier end and our order required us to get a side separate.

The Honey Garlic was delicious and some of the best flavored chicken I've had. The drumsticks were large, so don't be scared off that most orders of chicken are between 5-6 drumsticks. They are meaty and well worth it. The fried breading on this chick is excellent and holds up well to the sauce without getting mushy or constantly falling off the chicken.

We also tried the Hot BBQ as tenders, and it's definitely true to it's name. It is not just 'hot' to mild palettes (like the people who normally think mild wings are too spicy), it is genuinely spicy and deliciously sweet. Be warned, if your body is weird about hot food, this may not be for you. I thought it was excellent.

The steamed white rice was exactly what you'd expect. Nothing more, nothing less, the portion is solid for the $2 they charged.

The Mozzarella Sticks were also deliciously fried and had a nice texture however... my order did not have marinara sauce or any kind of dipping sauce like most people would expect. Not sure if it was missing from my order, but if it doesn't normally come with some kind of sauce, it should.

------------- The Service ----------------

The person who answered the phone was a little difficult to understand, however she did an excellent job repeating my orders back for confirmation and was very pleasant on the phone.

When I arrived, I was helped quickly. The gentleman who checked me out was direct and to the point, still friendly but I could tell they were busy. I tipped for my order despite doing pick-up because of the fast and efficient service.

-------------- Atmosphere ----------------

Overall this is a great place for some delicious take-out, my biggest and only complaint was that the interior seemed very basic and as someone who loves Korean culture, I think bringing a little bit more of that into the atmosphere would make it more inviting to dine in. The seating was what you'd expect to find at a chain store or a branded store, not bad but not really unique.

I would definitely recommend this place and will be...

Nestled in the otherwise sleepy Safeway shopping center on Centennial, 92 Chicken is a gem that has quickly become the go-to spot for Korean fast-casual dining aficionados. This restaurant, with its cozy and inviting ambiance, offers an unforgettable culinary journey through Korea’s rich flavors, where every bite is a journey across the East Sea.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm and vibrant energy of 92 Chicken. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern and traditional Korean aesthetics, creating an atmosphere that’s both chic and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that instantly feels like home, thanks to the friendly staff who treat every guest like family.

But let’s talk about the star of the show: the chicken. 92 Chicken’s menu is a dazzling display of Korea’s beloved poultry dish, crafted to perfection with a variety of flavors and cooking techniques that cater to every palate. Whether you’re a fan of the classic crispy fried chicken, smothered in a gloriously sticky and sweet sauce, or you prefer something a bit more fiery, like their spicy chicken that packs a punch, there’s something here for everyone.

Each dish is prepared with meticulous attention to detail, using only the freshest ingredients to ensure that every bite is as flavorful and satisfying as possible. The chicken is juicy, tender, and bursting with flavors that are bold yet perfectly balanced. The sauces, range from subtly sweet to intensely spicy, offering a delightful sensory experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Beyond the chicken, 92 Chicken also offers a variety of Korean favorites that complement the main attraction beautifully. The menu is thoughtfully designed to offer a well-rounded dining experience.

But what truly sets 92 Chicken apart is its commitment to providing a fast-casual dining experience that doesn’t compromise on quality or flavor. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service is remarkably quick and efficient, ensuring that your delicious meal is served hot and fresh.

In conclusion, 92 Chicken is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Korean cuisine, culture, and hospitality. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Korean food or a curious newcomer ready to explore, this place promises an unforgettable dining experience that’s full of flavor, warmth, and joy. It’s no wonder 92 Chicken has captured the hearts (and stomachs) of so many, solidifying its status as a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a taste of...

Full story: me and 2 friends came into this place after a bad experience of cold food at a dinner nearby, we were happy and excited to try something new. One of my friends had 1 beer at the dinner while we waited for our food, she was by no means drunk or belligerent. We ordered our food and drinks at the counter and the owner was nice at first; my friend ordered a beer with her meal, it is typical for places like this to hand you your drink after you pay while you wait for your food. My friend didn't receive her drink so she went up to the counter after waiting a bit to ask for it while we wait. The owner then accused her of never purchasing a beer and trying to steal from them, my friend rightfully was offended and showed the receipt with the beer listed on it. Rather than acting like a rational human being the owner preceded to yell at my friend and called her a drunk while threatening to call the police when my friend requested a refund if they wouldn't serve her the beer she ordered.

The lady at the front counter was very rude to me and my friends. She tried to not give us one of our drinks that we ordered and threatened to call the police on us when we showed her the receipt with the drink on it. I would not recommend going here if you have a disability whatsoever. They are very discriminatory and it is not a good environment 0 out of 10 Edit to reply to owner: that is not what happened. I wasn't the one that ordered the beer by the way. Your wife was the one that yelled at her first, my friend had every right to defend herself and request a refund so we could leave. She had 1 beer beforehand and you decided to be an asshole. She didn't do anything to provoke you besides asking for her drink. The police wouldn't have sided with you for trying to refuse to give us what we paid for. Your wife needs to work on her manners and y'all shouldn't serve alcohol if you cant handle...
