Went in here for a routine haircut. I’ve been coming here to get my hair cut for the last few years with no problem until today

Today I walked out with disastrous results for my hair and I’m very upset. I nearly cried when I got home and saw the actual results

The hair stylist was distracted during my appointment cuz she kept talking to her coworker. Her name is Lee Lee

I asked her to cut my hair to shoulder length

She cut it to about neck length just slightly below my ears. WAY shorter than I had asked

There is a HUGE difference between shoulder and ear length. I made it very clear how long I wanted my hair and she didn’t listen

The stylist also seemed to have an attitude. She didn’t seem very friendly or personable

There was another stylist next to her cutting hair for another client and that stylist seemed more friendly and was talkative with their client

Most of the stylists I’ve seen here usually have asked me while cutting my hair if I’m ok with the length

This particular stylist waited till she had cut the back and left sides of my hair before checking length. It was already too late at this point

I couldn’t tell her she cut it too short cuz she already had cut so much of my hair off and there was no sense at that point of saying anything as there was only one side left to do

She also asked if I wanted it cut more and I nearly sarcastically said “no cut it shorter”

I have straight long hair. It’s not complicated to cut it. It’s pretty straightforward

My hair is all messed up now. It curls upwards at the ends and I look like a Poodle/Lord Farquaad

I've been here many times and most stylists are great except for one. I don't know her name but she is at the front on the left (looking in from the front door). Always way to talkative and unprofessional. I know a lot of people like talking during a haircut, but a lot of us don't. Learn to read your customers. Went in the day after Christmas, and while waiting I heard her coughing so hard she was nearly hacking up a lung on her customer. I heard her mention the she was getting over COVID and just laughed it off. At least wear a mask. I was leaving for a trip the next day and really needed this haircut, otherwise I would have left. Of course I got her. I could feel her breathing all over me. Even worse was she spent half the time going on about how much she hated her manager because of what she was doing to her on Christmas eve or something. I really didn't care and thought it very unprofessional that she would slander her boss like that to a customer. She seemed to expect sympathy from me. At many points she just stopped cutting and just blabbed. I never once asked a questions about it or made any notion that I cared. Again, most stylists are great but this lady needs a course in...

Evette is a phenomenal stylist. This is the second time she has cut my hair, and the level of meticulous precision she displays is unparalleled. My fades and edges have been perfect, my sideburns have been even, and her blending skills have been flawless. I’d kept the same hair style for over 15 years until earlier this past summer. Evette was the first to style me to what I was looking for, and introduced me to American Crew Clay Matte, which I have since used religiously. Her dialogue is always sweet, and the level of care she displays towards her craft is something I had yet to encounter. She’ll even go the extra mile and even out my eyebrows, completely unprompted.
