Blossom Nail Spa — Local services in Colorado Springs

I came here to freshen up with a simple manicure and pedicure. The atmosphere was nice, with water sounds and ambient tv playing. The service was friendly and accommodating. However, I felt the salon's cleanliness was lacking. When I arrived, I stepped over a dirty, stained towel left on the floor at the front door. I noticed long black hairs (not mine) embedded in their towels, including the ones they wrapped around my legs for a warm compress as a part of the pedicure. I noticed the nail tech placing used tools on surfaces like the table next to me where I was keeping my personal items like water and sunglasses. Also, I was not offered any kind of refreshment despite being there for 2 hours. And after a few hours at home, I noticed a pain in one of my big toes along the nail bed that was not there before... While I probably won't be back, I appreciated the great attitude of my nail tech and the effort of...

The man that did my nails was fully asleep when I walked in, his female coworker had to come wake him up. Got a pretty simple design, despite my wishes. Asked to do a design and the man just straight up said no when I asked how much it would cost for something similar to the inspiration pic. He also spent an entire hour filing my nails over and over again and completely destroyed my cuticles. 6 of my fingers look awful because of how rough he was with the filing around my cuticles. Plus the underneath of my thumb nail is cracked and I’m worried that it won’t last the few days I need it to for the event have. I’ve had my nails done plenty of times before, but never had an experience like this before. The color is cute, but with all the issues, it wasn’t worth $70. I will be finding somewhere else...

My experience at Blossom Nail Spa was excellent. Here’s why:

Flexibility: I requested an appointment for a pedicure last minute and the owner, Helen, was eager to accommodate. Even though Helen was short staffed, she worked me into her busy schedule.

Punctuality: My appointment was at 3pm. At 2:59, my dogs were soaking in the foot bath.

Quality of work/Professionalism: Helen has been in the business for 25+ years and it’s evident. My feet were in rough shape. Helen did a fantastic job. My feet are like new.

Cleanliness: The facility is spotless and smells great. The equipment is new.

Blossom Nail Spa is my go-to spot for pedicures in COS. Helen is an amazing woman and very personable. I enjoyed my pedicure and conversation with Helen, and no doubt will be a returning customer.
