I’ll never go back here. My mom and I came here, I grabbed incense, 10 for $3. Anyways, we walked through the whole place. When it was time to check out, we were coming up the check out, this lady with a buggy came walking up, she looked like she was gonna cry if I didn’t let her go first (even though all I had was a pack of incense).
So she walks up, puts her stuff on the counter, didn’t even say thank you. Then says “my husband has the wallet” to the cashier. She leaves, gets the wallet from her husband, and then proceeds to continue shopping. Now the cashier is standing there. I’m standing there. Looking at that customer, looking at the cashier. Wondering wtf is happening. I mean wow. So we’re still waiting, and I finally ask the cashier “may you just check me out real quick? Since she’s still shopping?” She says “no I’m running hers right now” so I’m flabbergasted, yes, everybody in there was YT, I’m obviously not. So I chuckled and set the incense’s down and walked out.
Anyways, there’s a really cool, really HUGE flea market type place on the corner of Academy and Constitution. We went there and it was AMAZING! The people who work there were...
Read moreTHEY CLOSE FOREVER ON MARCH 26, 2022! COME GET YOUR BARGAINS! This is absolutely my new favorite place! The vibe here is really positive and I dare you to say otherwise. I heard there used to be owners that were not great here but now its under new ownership so if youve not been by lately you gotta stop in. The large and unassuming building boasts 90+ vendors (sellers) with their own little shop space to sell their wares on consignment. There is : from used to barely used. new in/without box item, vintage stuff , modern stuff , stuff Im like "WOW" to , other stuff Im like "why are u selling that?" , stuff for all ages and genders. You can get gifts here , get practical boring stuff, lots of BRONCOS stuff (& other teams too). Sports equipment, electronics - basically anything you could want they have! I highly recommend bringing your out of town visiting fam who want reasonably priced souvenirs or if you wanna ditch your mother in law for a few hours - this is place! They follow mask rules so please be sure...
Read moreWalk in with my mask on, walk past the posted signs all over the door stating the current local mask and distance regulations, just to see the staff doesn’t follow their own posted rules. The owner who came to find us when we asked about a price on a radio, with no mask, came too close. An elderly woman with her mask down petted my wife’s hair, and the other employee with nose out. Vendors coming and going with no masks or masks down. No example from the owner to do better. Had to check out at the register in 6’ of them like this. We tried to stay back. Very inconsiderate. Makes me worry about the “wash your hands” sign in the bathroom. I’m guessing they don’t adhere to that either. Not a good public safety vibe with fellow customers not being enforced to wear a mask on their nose, and employees literally DO NOT care Not worth the possible exposure. Pitiful flea market, wouldn’t want to be a vendor here for sure, let alone a customer again. Rude owner. Five thumbs down...
