PPSC is a great college and i’ve had some pretty amazing professors and i’ve learned a lot. i would recommend ppsc to anyone looking to get back into college and it’s a great school to get your prerequisites done at because they offer a lot of transfer classes!
however, getting into class in the morning is one of the most frustrating experiences ever and i think something needs to be figured out regarding this issue, like having more entrances to their parking lot. they always have every single road blocked off, so there’s only one way to get into the school and there’s an elementary school where people are directing traffic absolutely horrendously and it takes about 20 minutes to even get into the parking lot. traffic gets backed up all the way down interquest and it’s very frustrating - they barely let any cars in. i’ve been late to my class so many times even when i leave my house 30 minutes before my class starts, which is frustrating because im paying money to be in my class that i can’t even get to on time no matter when i leave my home.
so if you’re looking to take an 8 am class, get there at LEAST 30 minutes before your class starts, otherwise you’re going to be...

With that out of the way, I attended the Rampart Range campus of PPCC for my first two years and I miss it.
I only ever had one teacher who didn't really know what he was doing, but besides that, all my teachers cared about their subjects and the learning development of their students. I've had instructors who also teach at other local institutions, i.e. UCCS. From my experience, the teachers are friendly and very willing to help.
The small class sizes and beautiful location in a steppe environment under the commanding presence of the Rocky Mountains make this particular campus one of my favorite places in Colorado Springs. Besides the first few busy weeks of school, this is a very easy-going institution.
I definitely recommend Pikes Peak Community College for both those who work and those who want a good education at great location for...
Read moreI'm currently in hvac program. However when starting back in college for the 2025 summer semester I needed to speak with any counselor in regards to register. I had a meeting set up, to help me register. Just for the counselor to email rudely stating they arnt in hvac and canceled my meeting. That was the first red flag to this school, that it is tough to get support. My teacher was very pleasant and nice, however the school just has 0 support. Either you fall in line and do what they say or recieve 0 support. My computer applications class final was on August 2nd, 2025. However the class software liscense for simsnet ended on July 30th 2025. I had to take a 0 on my final due to how the school operates. I never recieved any explanation I never received an opportunity to complete my final either. This school offers no support. If you can self teach. You might do well. Otherwise avoid this school. You...
