Vee Nails Spa — Local services in Colorado Springs

This place is fine if you’re not picky and will settle for mediocre work. I came in to get my nails (dip) done for my baby shower and trip to Mexico. They were nice to me at first, but one of the techs took over an hour to not even complete my nails. He barely was able to get me to wash/rinse my hands after an hour and 10 mins. I had to rush to another appt so I had to leave and asked them to come back. I paid the same day and tipped the male tech who originally started on my nails. I came back the next morning and he sat me down and began working on my nails but then he immediately pawned me off to a different employee who had just barely walked in. She didn’t even have time to set her things down before he asked her to take over. He didn’t even communicate with me what was happening so I had a different tech (sweet, young girl) finish my nails. She did a good job for what she was given, but this guy can’t even file nails to the shape I asked for. I asked for oval, he gave me round. But even then, my nails aren’t evenly rounded. He clearly doesn’t know much of what he’s doing and I am not satisfied with my nails. Unfortunately I will have unsatisfactory nails for my baby shower and Mexico trip I have next week 😕 if you aren’t picky about your nails, this place is fine. First time in and I'm happy i gave this place a try. Right when i walk in, a sweet lady greets me and helps me sign in. She helped me pick a color because I am so indecisive and i ended up going with a pretty sunflower yellow. I was offered a beverage and the temperature in the room was relaxing. Im happy with my visit and i felt appreciated. I think i found a new nail spot😁

So unfortunately, I'm updating my review because I'm so upset with how my previous experience went. I was paired up with Anna and she did a horrible job on my nails; she hurt my nails by trying to push my cuticles back, she rushed through cutting my cuticles and ended up cutting me several times, one cut was especially painful because she cut a gash of skin and it started gushing blood, my pinky nail was messed up not even an hour after leaving and I felt so disappointed by this experience getting it fixed wasn't worth it. The whole experience was rough, usually you go to get your nails done and relax but I was afraid for my hands because she was not nice to me. Unfortunately, after thinking about my experience here I will not be back because paying 45.00 for nails to walk out with bleeding cuticles is unacceptable. I try to find nail spas close to my stomping grounds & I always pass by this place so I decided to check it out a few months ago! I’ve been coming back because of how the techs treat me overall and how delicate their process is on handling my cuticles, I can bleed in a heart beat & after getting wrangled/cut a few times from TN Nails by Rhino’s Sports Bar, I wanted to come back & make sure my experience at this establishment wasn’t taboo… I can make my appointments online & even calling in to say I would be late, they still took me in & there was no wait! They have a great selection of gel colors and have working massage chairs, very clean place and uses brand new nail tools every time - they don’t reuse, even going from Pedi to Mani on the same person either! My tech asks questions on every step, from the shape desired to if the water is too hot.. This is my place at the moment & have been making appts with them the past few times now!
