Check-in already felt unfriendly and a bit snarky – not exactly a warm welcome for $150 a night. The room itself was okay: spacious shower with strong water pressure, no carpet (which I prefer), and the A/C worked perfectly in night mode – quiet, no cold draft. Breakfast the next morning was actually very tasty. But that’s where the positives end. Bathroom was disappointing: lots of limescale, leftover soap scum, and a dirty, heavily scaled shower head (see photos). In the evening, the front desk staff seemed more amused by guests than helpful. WiFi didn’t work at all around 8:30 pm. I called the reception, was told there should be an info sheet somewhere in the room with the helpdesk number – there wasn’t. Called back, got the number after some obvious annoyance. The helpdesk casually said it was a known issue and they were working on it. Why doesn’t the front desk proactively tell guests, instead of making them chase it down? On the second morning, breakfast was tasty again, but nobody was there to clean the used tables and chairs. Guests came and went, dirty tables stayed that way, so you ended up either wiping it yourself or looking for one that was halfway decent And to top it all off: the moment I connected to the hotel WiFi, it popped up a fake “Your iPhone is infected with 18 viruses!” scam warning. That’s a serious trust breaker. Bottom line: spacious shower, good A/C, tasty breakfast – but poor cleanliness, questionable attitude at check-in, broken WiFi the guest has to sort out on their own, plus shady WiFi pop-ups..

Comfort Suites is no longer what it used to be esp. the newly built hotels. Although this hotel seems newly built, our room had some wear and tear. I gave this hotel a 2-star review mostly b/c of the flashing smoke detector and the issues listed below. This Comfort Suites Colorado Springs East - Medical Center Area seems to be newly built and is a combination hotel sharing the same building with another hotel but I was disappointed. It was very confusing to find the correct entrance and the front desk. The smoke detector flashes a very bright, white light all night long and the clock glows so brightly it makes it difficult to sleep. You can unplug the clock but there's nothing you can do about the "lightning flashes" of the smoke detector. I won't stay here again b/c of the flashing lights of the detector. The toilet in #411 was broken and required pushing the handle up to stop the flow. The sofa was worn with a seam that was beginning to unravel and the ottomans were stained. The toilet paper holder was so far behind and to the side of the toilet, I couldn't reach it. Bed was comfortable and bedding was fine. Other than the wear and tear of the furniture and the stains, the rooms seemed clean. The lady in the breakfast area was very helpful and the breakfast was good. The front desk attendant said he would address the broken toilet but since we only stayed one night, we don't know if the hotel fixed the problem.

Easy location for where I needed to be however property is in dire need of asthetic maintenance; needs updating... things like the plastic wood-look flooring is coming up, peeled off inside front door and side lobby entrance. Both get heavily trafficked with what appeared to be long term tenants... parking spots are so narrow, you can't access your vehicle unless your body is very thin. Parking spots are too few and not close to rooms so my wagon came in handy. There are a few parking spots in the back of hotel but door access is for fire use only exit, not operational for room access and also only by exterior stairwell to vehicles. Landscaping is completely unattended and littered with trash. My room was well equipped and comfortable. Staff was friendly at front desk and there all night, ready to check you in! Parking is a big issue and not easy. A lot of large work trucks here every night.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with A hotel. I travel frequently for work, so stay at hotels often, and have never written a negative review until now. This time I stayed at this Comfort Inn as a little escape from my six kids as I am a single mom of six kids whose father is no longer around, and for the first time since August I had a babysitter (2 nights) so some time to myself. The room I was placed in was awful. Toilet was not attached to floor, so when you sit to use the restroom it moves, bathtub, emitted a horrible Rotting sulfur smell that masked the entire room. I called the front desk to let them know the issue I was having to see if it would be possible for me to move to a different room, and the only solution I was offered was a cheap air freshening spray. Obviously I wasn’t happy about it, but I just left it alone after that call and dealt with the smell. I Felt bad for kind of copping an attitude with the front desk guy last night after he offered me room spray, so Decided to give this hotel another chance and booked again there tonight. I called and requested I’d be put in a different room (222 and 224 I know for sure are tub rooms so I asked about having 222 made note of after being lied to about the amount of tub rooms and availability,) and I was met with absolute disrespect by the general manager Jared. He was so unprofessional, and downright rude. He lied and I called him out so he turned to insults and then canceled my reservation and when I inquired about when I would be seeing a refund, he hung up on me. I’m honestly speechless. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else this place is awful. Their breakfast sucks as well, and you’re lucky if you get a portion of the food that is served because when The food runs low/out they do not replenish it. Horrible experience. Jared, The position you are in does not seem as though it is a good fit for you because you allow emotion to supersede logic and you treat your customers like...

Two stars because the breakfast is good & the rooms are spacious. I just checked out from a five-day stay booked on behalf of my employer. At first impression, the hotel is a bit run down. I couldn't enter the door closest to my room because it was broken, and the next closest door reeks of cigarettes and pet waste because the hotel isn't stocking potty cleanup bags & dogs owners are littering the property in poop. On day 3, I had to walk through a hallway full of dog diarrhea to leave for work. Gross.

My room had scuffs all over the walls and dried blood on the comforter when I checked in. The water temperature in the shower was broken so I could only take ice cold or scalding hot showers. Broken stopper in the tub meant i also couldn't take a bath.

On my 4th day, housekeeping ignored the 'do not disturb' sign and came into my room anyway. They moved around a bunch of my belongings and took my towels but forgot to replace new ones. I felt super violated.

I tried to resolve the issues with front desk, but they never offered any solutions. The front desk clerk, Michael, came up to my room and confirmed the shower was broken but still left me in the room with no solution for the rest of my stay. When I went to speak one last time with front desk at check-out (to remind them of their broken amenities for the next guest), the girl up front was very dismissive and argumentative- blaming ME for not demanding to move rooms... When Michael told me the hotel was full!?! How was I supposed to know a room switch was an option? I don't work here! Terrible service. Would...
