Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had with A hotel. I travel frequently for work, so stay at hotels often, and have never written a negative review until now. This time I stayed at this Comfort Inn as a little escape from my six kids as I am a single mom of six kids whose father is no longer around, and for the first time since August I had a babysitter (2 nights) so some time to myself. The room I was placed in was awful. Toilet was not attached to floor, so when you sit to use the restroom it moves, bathtub, emitted a horrible Rotting sulfur smell that masked the entire room. I called the front desk to let them know the issue I was having to see if it would be possible for me to move to a different room, and the only solution I was offered was a cheap air freshening spray. Obviously I wasn’t happy about it, but I just left it alone after that call and dealt with the smell. I Felt bad for kind of copping an attitude with the front desk guy last night after he offered me room spray, so Decided to give this hotel another chance and booked again there tonight. I called and requested I’d be put in a different room (222 and 224 I know for sure are tub rooms so I asked about having 222 made note of after being lied to about the amount of tub rooms and availability,) and I was met with absolute disrespect by the general manager Jared. He was so unprofessional, and downright rude. He lied and I called him out so he turned to insults and then canceled my reservation and when I inquired about when I would be seeing a refund, he hung up on me. I’m honestly speechless. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else this place is awful. Their breakfast sucks as well, and you’re lucky if you get a portion of the food that is served because when The food runs low/out they do not replenish it. Horrible experience. Jared, The position you are in does not seem as though it is a good fit for you because you allow emotion to supersede logic and you treat your customers like...
Read moreTwo stars because the breakfast is good & the rooms are spacious. I just checked out from a five-day stay booked on behalf of my employer. At first impression, the hotel is a bit run down. I couldn't enter the door closest to my room because it was broken, and the next closest door reeks of cigarettes and pet waste because the hotel isn't stocking potty cleanup bags & dogs owners are littering the property in poop. On day 3, I had to walk through a hallway full of dog diarrhea to leave for work. Gross.
My room had scuffs all over the walls and dried blood on the comforter when I checked in. The water temperature in the shower was broken so I could only take ice cold or scalding hot showers. Broken stopper in the tub meant i also couldn't take a bath.
On my 4th day, housekeeping ignored the 'do not disturb' sign and came into my room anyway. They moved around a bunch of my belongings and took my towels but forgot to replace new ones. I felt super violated.
I tried to resolve the issues with front desk, but they never offered any solutions. The front desk clerk, Michael, came up to my room and confirmed the shower was broken but still left me in the room with no solution for the rest of my stay. When I went to speak one last time with front desk at check-out (to remind them of their broken amenities for the next guest), the girl up front was very dismissive and argumentative- blaming ME for not demanding to move rooms... When Michael told me the hotel was full!?! How was I supposed to know a room switch was an option? I don't work here! Terrible service. Would...
