*Responding to the response from the owner:
I was told it would dull over time. I agreed to that risk. I was not told it would break. Big difference. The two women with me in the store have the same perspective. You guys warned me it would dull over time. A year and a few months later, it’s broken in two (my fiancé isn’t very active in rock climbing btw—she’s an art teacher, as I told you and you tried to use against me).
Not bullying or intimidating. That’s quite a stretched exaggeration for someone angry she received a 1 star review. You offered no help but to “fix” a ring that will be broken again. Pretty horrible experience in every way.
TLDR: engagement ring broke after a year and a half. Revolution never recommended against buying that ring and engagement ring. After the fact, in a Captain Hindsightesque way, I was told “Well, that ring wasn’t made for daily use, even though we knew you were buying it as an engagement ring.”
Longer version: Went there for an engagement ring. Got one. Was very happy.
It broke a year and a few months later.
Called the place. It was past the 6 month warranty. Okay.
Owner emailed me back and blamed me for buying a ring that was apparently “not for daily use.” Again—I went in there for an ENGAGEMENT ring. It’s self-explanatory that an engagement ring will be used daily.
She had the chutzpah to tell me the fee would be $50 to fix it. So again: she said the ring was not for daily use (a year and months too late) and then told me I could fix it. Why in God’s name would I do such a thing after she finally explained that I shouldn’t have bought it, knowing I shouldn’t have bought it in the first place?
Then she explained to me in the final email that I’m a teacher and it’s my students fault if they fail a test. Sure, if the student didn’t study. But it’s possible the teacher is garbage (much like the store) and in such a case, the student would be entitled to a retake.
In my case, I was apparently wrong for picking a ring that wasn’t made for daily use. It broke, and then I was shamed for not being told that the engagement ring (again, they knew I was looking for an engagement ring) wasn’t for daily use. It could have been as simple as “Sir, rings like that aren’t good for engagement rings. They could break [after just a year!]”
Nope. Instead I was argued with over email and lost the engagement they never recommended against.
What a horrible experience. It’s sort of traumatic in a way, losing an engagement ring. Instead of empathy and perhaps an attempt to talk to the ring maker, I was given attitude, not to mention a false equivalency fallacy that the owner should have learned about in high school.

Read moreTerrible experience with repair! I used them before and was satisfied but this time was a totally different experience. I brought in a pendant that’s bail was too small for my rope chain. The person measured my chain and gave me a couple options. 1. Buy a new bail or 2. Take the bail off the pendant that was currently on the chain and move it to the new pendant. I selected the second option as it is more cost effective . I asked the person helping me if I needed to leave the chain and she said no.
I went to pickup the two pieces (old pendant) and the new one. I tried to put the new pendant on the chain and it wouldn’t fit. I asked the person helping me if they could fix the issue. He took my chain and pendant to the back and was gone for several minutes. He came back and started presenting me with options on how they could fix what they had broke. I explained that the bail they “swapped” was on this chain previously and now won’t fit. He told me it was because they didn’t have the necklace when they did the work they couldn’t fit the bail to the pendant. I explained that that exact bail was on my chain and I slid it off the chain so they could swap it over to the new pendant. I told him that they should not charge me for work when a service isn’t properly rendered. He stared at me blankly and then told me the cost. I said I will take it to a real jewelers and have the work done right. You are rolling the dice when trusting Revolution and be warned if they make a repair and make it worse, you will still pay up! I’ve never had a worse customer service experience ever! I had something that was functional become unfunctional and footed the bill…….And got the pay up sucker look from an indifferent rude employee.
Your response only backs up what I was saying. You say that you did exactly what I asked. That is not true. I asked for the pendant that I bought be made to fit my chain. You measured the chain and gave me options. The option you gave me was to swap bails. The bail obviously was big enough for me to slide it over the clasp and off the chain so I could leave it with you. You didn’t deliver and left me with a bail that used to fit, but now is too small. Nobody mentioned this as a possible outcome. So, again I paid you for a service that was not met and had to pay for what you suggested and didn’t work. I hope people will see both sides and avoid your business at all costs.
Lastly, the employee made excuses for it being to small by saying I didn’t bring in the chain for them to measure which is flat out false. I told him, the first employee measured the chain AND I asked if I need to leave to ensure fitment. She replied no.

Read moreI came here after seeing an advertisement from the owner on a local news station. From the minute, I walked in I was treated differently due to the way I was dressed. The sales person Cory was not really interested in listening to what I had to say, or about this repair but I wanted to get my sentimental piece of jewelry repaired. We discussed the repairs and I showed the details for the worn areas for this particular piece of jewelry as it was a necklace and religious pendant , after waiting two weeks , I had to call them I arrived at the store upon inspecting my jewelry it was not repaired as I had asked. One of the things I asked for was to have the old pieces of gold that they took off, which they noted on the receipt .I did not receive my old pieces back, They did add another small repair at no cost while waited however, the overall repair was not what I asked for and I’m not sure it’s it if it’s even real gold that they added to my necklace? When I met with the person about my repair, not being correct they quickly dismissed it as it was my fault and I quickly corrected them, but they just didn’t seem like they were interested in me or my small sentimental jewelry repair. So I paid for the repair got my jewelry back and I will go elsewhere to get it corrected. They had advertised on TV that they are a one stop shop for all things jewelry for all people however that was not my experience. I would recommend that they train their staff to be more customer oriented and dedicated from the smallest job to the biggest job and not be judgmental of people when they walk in on how they are dressed.
Jewelry is extremely personal, IMO the staff does not acknowledge that.
Bottom line, staff judged me and treated me indifferent, repair not completed as I requested. I won’t be back and would not recommend based on...
