Hair Follicle Testing- Donna Parker; I'm so blessed to be working with Donna at 931 Beauty Co. for all of my skincare needs. I've achieved such incredible results after my facial/peel and hair follicle testing that I just have to share! I've suffered from cystic acne for almost 20 years now and have seen countless physicians, and been prescribed many medications (with harmful side effects) for what seemed like a very frustrating experience, with never getting to the root cause of my acne. For two years now, I've been incredibly focused on nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, grounding, detoxing etc. and removed myself from all medications however felt like I needed extra guidance and support. I've been recently working with Donna and seeing her for facials, chemical peels and dermaplaning, all of which have been so incredible and my skin has had such positive results. She recently recommended the hair follicle test to me as it would provide me with vitamin/mineral deficiencies, possible toxins within the body, food sensitivities etc. and I could not believe my results, mostly all related to food sensitivities that I'd been eating on a very regular, if not daily basis (garlic, onions, grapes, strawberries, walnuts, dates). It's been 10 days since my test, and I've completely omitted these from my diet and I'm absolutely blown away with my results, I literally feel like I have new skin! She spent so much time with me going over my report, the vitamins that will help better support me and my overall health journey and I just feel so grateful to have found her and her expertise. Jessie is a hair goddess! My wedding venue recommended Jessie from Go Gorgeous and I am so glad I set up a trial. She did my hair for my engagement photo shoot and did an amazing job even on a shortened time table. She had worked with Halo Couture extensions before and blended my Halo perfectly. So of course I wanted her for my big day! I went to her salon for a trial a few days before my wedding and fell in love with what she came up with. The look I was going for was “old Hollywood glam” and she sure delivered. She explained to me the limitations of the Pinterest pictures I showed her but still produced an amazing look! On the big day, I felt like a freaking movie star with her teasing, curling, and shaping my hair. My hair style complimented perfectly my dress and make up, AND it lasted all night long - through rain, snow, and dancing! Her adorable assistant Brooke helped out with the rest of my bridal party and made everyone look so amazing! Every girl (bridesmaids, mothers, officiant) wanted something different and were so happy with the outcome. Tatum! Honestly, small talk has always made me a bit uncomfortable and it takes me a while to feel totally comfortable and enjoy the salon experience. So moving to a new state after experiencing significant hair loss from chemo made me avoid finding a new stylist for a few months. I’ve been so down about the hair loss; I no longer feel like myself so my husband pushed me to book an appt. Tatum is the first extension consult I went to and I knew pretty much immediately I would choose her. There’s no small talk with her, she gets you immediately. When I wouldn’t look in the mirror at my consultation, she looked at me in the mirror and said “we’re going to get your self-confidence back.” I saw a few other stylists at different salons and it was evident I was just another extension opportunity.
