*We had the best time shopping at the incredibly beautiful bath and body boutique! Chance is super knowledgeable and fabulously friendly. The products not only smell good, they FEEL good and are safe to use! I highly recommend a quick (or leaisurely) stop anytime you are near! Everyone is so wonderful at making you feel welcome you may never want to leave the store. No worries! Chance was smart enough to put a few stools right beside the counter so you can rest for a minute while you figure out what other products you don’t yet have have in your cart (but are now sure you cannot live without them)! *We discovered some amazing scents that remind us of our local travels like “Blue Ridge,” “Carolina”, “Clemson,” and more! I even got delighted at the play on Taylor Swift’s popularity with the soaps and scrubs named “Enchanted” and “Karma.” A black & glitter “Reputation” scented soap bar, shave bar, sugar scrub, & body butter in a sexy scent with would be amazing! *We found bath steamers, candles, soaps, body glitter, beard oil, body butter, shower oil, hand-poured candles, pet care & SO MUCH MORE! We visited for the first time then based on the luscious body butter, skin-soft soap, & moisturizing scrubs samples we tried, we came RIGHT BACK the next day for more…I’m so glad we did! This store packs a LOT of wonderful finds in a small, clean, beautifully lit space.

*I felt like I needed to add even more praise to describe the luxurious experience of using these products once we arrived back home from our travels. I first used the Shave Bar (for my legs) in “Sweet Magnolia”. The scent is reminiscent of childhood summer days enjoying the shade under a Magnolia tree in full blossom. The bar was super soft, but not the kind of soft as some other soap stores’ products which quickly turn into unusable mush that lasts only 2 or 3 baths. My legs are still moisturized even several hours later! *Second I used the “Desert Blossom” sugar scrub on my ridiculously dry knees and elbows. It has a mild level of exfoliation (think not as deep as Glam Glow Youth Mud but stronger than St.Ives Apricot Face Scrub). It’s perfect for daily use! I loved that it didn’t leave a gritty residue in the bathtub! Next I talked my husband into applying some “Karma” body butter to my tired feet. My feet still remain pleasantly moisturized without greasy or oily residue. *My kids were thrilled to snatch up some of my newest samples! The super fun near-telepathic mind-reading “soap horoscope” part was that I could easily pair each soap with each kid based on scent & color. After we paired them we looked up the names and OMG, each one was an absolutely perfect description of the interests & personalities of each child! SO SO FUN! My 18 year-old daughter is very earthy, bright, and loves natural scents. Hers was “Lemongrass.” My 12 year-old daughter adores the water, wants to be a marine biologist, and loves all things ocean and mermaid. Sure enough she wound up with “Aqua-holic!” My 10-year old boy (who is on the ASD spectrum and VERY picky) loves all things sweet and colored green. He ended up with “Farm Fresh Apple.” This gets EVEN weirder! I also examined & smelled each sample. There was one I pulled out & said to my husband he MUST smell it immediately (while he was driving) and I told him “this smells just like a MAN, like a REAL MAN.” When the kids were experimenting with the soap bars they grabbed that same one and said “Dad, this smells so much like you!” It was literally named “Untamed Man!” Ha! *We were so enamored with CCSC that even though we visited Sat., went back for more on Sunday, we STILL placed an online order when we got home. *CHECK THEM OUT ONLINE!!! Their website is crisp, clean, and user-friendly. It has thorough directions on product use/application, clear and understandable descriptions, and pricing that is completely reasonable for stellar quality! My best friend brought me down here when I was visiting from New Jersey, I flew down here. Let me tell you how hard it was to not buy things that I knew would get taken by the TSA. I was having a hard time smelling things because I haven't been in this type of store in forever and my nose was overwhelmed, stuffy from flying and the hotel probably (it was my nose, my best friend and her kids could smell everything fine) and he was super sweet telling me what the scents were and let me smell the concentration scents so I can actually smell them. I booked a soap making experience for a birthday gift, but when I showed up no one was there. I had called Tuesday and was told I’d get a call back by a lady, and I never did. I called Wednesday and a guy answered. He told me their system was down and to still show up for my experience and pay then. We called several times today when no one was there and we were told that we would get a call back, which we never did.
