I am extremely disappointed. I have come to the establishment almost every single day during my break for the past week. When I first visited, I asked the owner if I’d be served if I arrived close to closing time, and he assured me that as long as I arrived before 1:30—as that is when the kitchen closes—I would be fine. This has been the case time and time again.
Today, I arrived at 1:17, and I noticed that the TV was off, the register was off, and the woman at the register told me that they were closed—even though I saw some customers sitting at a table. I asked how it could be closed if the stated closing time is 1:30, and I know for a fact that the kitchen is supposed to operate until then. Her response was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant; she said, and I quote, “I’m tired as hell.” Using profanity toward a customer, on top of closing the establishment early without any prior warning, is ridiculous.
I am so frustrated because the food here is truly delicious, and I brought my boyfriend for his first visit and recommend your restaurant to all my peers. This place has lost a loyal customer, thanks to your lazy, unprofessional staff. Maybe if she had been more polite, I wouldn’t have been inclined to leave this review. Remember, 1:30 means 1:30. If you’re going to close earlier, please update your...
Read moreStaying at the Marriott we decided to breakfast outside and found Crepes around the corner. This French theme strip mall place was inviting with a nice menu. Our party of four found easy seating and ordered. Bill and I decided on the Bacon Egg and cheese omelette...sad to say it was a complete failure as it was over cooked and burned with Bacon strips so thin that you could see the egg through it so one ⭐ at best. Now as we ate we saw others that ordered the same thing but looked much better than ours so we assume that they messed up ours. Chai Latte with Almond milk and Cafe Mocha were good so 5 ⭐. Create your own French Toast with fresh strawberries was good but edges were burnt taking away from what could have been a good offering so 4 ⭐. Last guest ordered the Melting Pot Create your own with Tomato 🍅, Spinach, Goat cheese, smoked salmon, potato 🥔 and cheddar cheese which was good at 5 ⭐. After paying the bill noticed that they add a 3.5% service charge for credit card usage... they should have a sign advising customers of that as I would have paid cash so 1 ⭐ for that. Tried the sample Macarons 6 for $11.00...a bit pricey but fresh and good so 4 ⭐. Will we be back??? Hard to say as it's a possibility as there are so few choices within walking distance...
Read moreI was just looking for a quick breakfast, but I ended up finding a LOT more. It’s in a great spot with no shortage of parking (parking garage above) and once I got inside, there was plenty of room to sit. Also, it was c l e a n. So many business have a great idea but a messy interior; NOT Crêpes & Croissants. They offered a clearly themed and well designed layout. I recommend sitting at a table, since the hi-top seats were a little finicky. They have an extensive menu which was easily decipherable, thanks to the help of the lovely individuals on staff. Both were respectful, diligent and catering but not overbearing. I ordered a “Paris” crêpe as well as a sugar crêpe, and enjoyed them both as I listened to some great French bops. They are not a MASSIVE operation, but something as good as these crêpes undoubtedly takes careful attention and effort. Also, their whole setup is visible from the counter which is very much appreciated by people like myself, who want to know what’s going on with the food I’m about to eat. Surely, if it comes up on your radar, make an effort to stop by—you’ll be better off for supporting a local business and a guaranteed pleasant experience. (Thank you for reading this whole thing. Forgive my exceptionally long review...it’s the...
