Diggin The Doo's — Local services in Columbia

I am a retired groomer of 15 years. I owned my own shop in Knoxville before retiring and selling my business to relocate to Middle Tn. In all my years as a cage free facility I never had a fur baby killed! Sure once in a blue moon a baby would get a clipper nick, or brush burn, they are sometimes nervous, anxious or on occasion trying to bite your face off. But never did a fur baby die in our care from neglect. I have a close friend that recently boarded her two babies at this facility. One didn't come home alive. He was around a 4 lb fur baby. He was attacked and KILLED by a large dog. First question I would ask is why was a 4lb dog around a large dog? He had puncture wounds from two large bites. The pictures I saw looked as if his ribs were also broke. This facility out and out lied about what happened. Even the vet she took him to, a Dr. Lembo lied to my friend. He told my friends that Nacho died of a heart attack. They wanted to cremated him before the owners got back…free of charge of course! How sweet of them. Thank God my friend had enough sense to know something else was going on and refused. Now we are hearing of other horror stories. Please, please please avoid...

It pains me to write this review but felt like customers should know. We’ve been taking our dog for well over 2 years and have always been very happy with the work they provided.

The last 2 times the grooming and bathing has been subpar.

This last time in August, I paid for grooming, bath, teeth brushing, facial, and nail cut and grind. My dog was there less than 2 hours.

His cut was horrible and had 2 places where they had cut him. His eats m were destroyed and I had to gone home and even trim them up myself. They even cut his fluffy tail down to nothing. His nails were not touched at all. And quite frankly, he stunk when got home. In the past, he would really smell nice for at least 2 weeks before his next visit, which is every 4 weeks.

Diggin the Do’s work has increasing become worse. I mentioned this to them and the offered they would groom him again for free. I’m still wondering what I paid $65 for in August.

I cannot recommend Diggin the Do’s if you care anything...

I have not one complaint at all!! My dog came home a happy camper! Smelling so sweet too, almost too sweet for a Male dog, lol. If I needed to have my baby cared for again I would definitely carry him back to Diggin the Doo's!! I would reccomend them to anyone who need their dog cared for, nails done, just bathed, or any of the other services they offer. THEY ARE WONDERFUL WITH THE ANIMALS..!!! A compliment from me is a lot, I do tend to be hard to please... I am not better than anyone else just expect a job done right and this place does...
