It's always been difficult for me to find boutique stores that specialize in indian religious/wedding garments where the owners aren't pushy, charge obscene prices for garments with low quality fabric, and where the selection is old-fashioned and not up-to-date on the latest trends in fashion.
Visiting this store absolutely exceeded my expectations! Nisha, the owner, was incredible! She was beyond kind, sweet, and I agree with others that her fashion sense is on point! I went in and told her what styles and colors I like and don't like and most of the outfits she started putting aside for me were in near perfect alignment with my tastes!
I recommend going to her instagram to see her collection. There was a silver lehenga that I saw on her IG that I loved and I was sooo thrilled it was still available when I got to the store! The fabric was extremely high quality, the dress is sooo well made and stitched with comfort in mind, and best of all - it was so in style and modern, yet stay retains that traditional feel.
Nisha let me try on as many garments as I wanted and was so accommodating, she was such a joy to work with while I tried on multiple outfits. I never felt pressured to purchase anything and felt comfortable to just look around at my own pace. I went to get maybe 1 or 2 garments at most and I walked out with 5 different garments, two sets of bangles, and few pairs of earrings (her jewelry selection is gorgeous)!! I know these types of garments can be on the pricey side depending on what you're getting, but trust me when I tell you her stuff is worth it for the quality and how beautiful they are. These are not cheaply made by any stretch (I've bought poor-quality sarees and lehengas in the past, trust me).
My boyfriend came with me and we had an amazing experience and look forward to coming back her for her other selections that are more everyday and casual!...
Read moreHad a wonderful experience shopping at Mumbai Boutique! Nisha is highly professional and clearly passionate about her craft. She knows how to effortlessly blend colors, fashion, and function into her outfits. This gives them an edge and makes a bold statement, while still preserving traditional Indian values. The attention to detail is evident in the intricacy of the embellishments on each outfit and the perfection with which they’ve been executed—almost like an artist working on a canvas. This is something that truly distinguishes Mumbai Boutique from similar establishments in the vicinity, which, although sell similar items, lack the flair and pomp.
We bought three lehengas (one of them a bridal lehenga) from here, and each one is absolutely gorgeous. It’s also worth noting that the boutique offers a wide variety of outfits beyond lehengas, suitable for events like Sangeet or Haldi, as well as jewelry that complements the attire beautifully.
I especially appreciated the ample floor space, which allowed us to walk around, observe, admire, and select outfits at our own pace before heading to the fitting rooms. This made a big difference—something we came to appreciate even more after visiting other, more crowded stores.
Note: Photography is not allowed inside store. -The price range varies, with bridal lehengas on the higher end of the spectrum (while some of them are reasonable, some of them can stretch your budget). However, I firmly believe that quality comes at a price. And, if you’re someone who values beauty, craftsmanship, and professionalism, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
I highly recommend Mumbai Boutique and will definitely be coming back. Shout-out to Nisha and her...

A dear friend invited me to a wedding halfway around the world. I was elated to have been invited, but that feeling evaporated after realizing I had no idea what to wear to an Indian wedding!
My mother and I arrived at Mumbai Boutique and were warmly welcomed by Nisha. I provided her with all the attire information the bride sent to the wedding party. She immediately knew what items would work and pulled out a few gorgeous selections!
The shopping experience was a lot of fun! She never made us feel unintelligent when we had questions, was patient, and provided me with honest outfit opinions.
I ended up buying a gorgeous lehenga (I wanted to buy more outfits but garments this well-made, customized and detailed understandably cost a pretty penny!) and accessorized it with a beautiful jewelry set suggested by Nisha.
Nisha even connected me with a tailor who quickly tailored my lehenga due to me leaving town a few days after I visited her store.
My outfit was a hit at the wedding and multiple people came up to me and complimented my lehenga and jewelry!
Nisha helped me choose an outfit that made me feel wonderful at a once in a lifetime wedding overseas and for that I am forever grateful. You're the...
