We decided to try out this place since it had ramen and sushi.
We ordered a few appetizers, in addition to three bowls of ramen, and a stir fry udon dish.
The gyoza came well after we finished our meal. There were like seven other tables in the restaurant, and frying items shouldn't take more than 2-3 minutes - but they told us their fryer was too small.
The $15 udon dish had no proteins in it, and had such a low quantity of noodles in it. I couldn't believe it was $15; I asked my wife where the rest of it was.
The ramen bowls were below average. I had a hockey game at 10pm; I typically want to eat 2-3 hours BEFORE playing; we ordered around maybe around 6:20.
After eating here, we went to a bakery on Rte 40 for dessert. I had to RUSH to the bathroom; because I had diarrhea from the dinner. I had to use the women's bathroom because someone was occupying the men's restroom for so long.
We came home and I was worried about hydrating myself before my 10pm game; and lo and behold, after drinking a little bit of gatorade... I was in the bathroom again at the rink.
We are NEVER coming here again; for the price trying out the different dishes; we could have had a nice sushi dinner around time. The atmosphere, service, and quality did not match the price...
ย ย ย Read moreNamu is a beautiful restaurant in the Clarksville commons. I have this location a 3 star because of the food. I would have given a 2 star review but their ramen broth is EXCELLENT.
What really drew back on the experience was they did not have eggs. They stated that they were giving tofu as a substitution. The tofu was not prepared. They just cut a chunk and put it in the soup. Absolute garbage.
Tofu can be prepared correctly by letting it marinate in something. They did nothing of the sort and it really shows. When eating the tofu it is bland and it wasn't even pressed.
The seafood ramen wasn't good either. I swear they put that imitation crab meat in it. It tasted cheap.
Now the noodles were excellent and I must say their broth, which I chose the soy version, was one of the best broths I have tasted in ramen.
My son got the shrimp tempura ramen and he was very happy with it.
This place is a good choice for ramen and I will probably be back, but I will choose different options and forego the trashy tofu because the broth is...
ย ย ย Read moreI just ordered a couple rolls for take out today since they won't open for dining until later in May. She was so kind to include a complimentary Miso soup, it was so good. I like the description of the Specialty Rolls: Inside: Outside: Sauce: It makes it very easy to choose especially because the names are very unique.
I ordered the Watermelon Roll (which does not have actual watermelon in it) and it was so perfectly balanced, had just the right amount of heat and tasted so fresh.
I also ordered the Fantastic Roll without the cream cheese and again it was "Fantastic".
The rolls are the right size and two are plenty for two people especially if you have soup and/or an app.
I'm so thrilled to have such a great quality sushi restaurant close by and I'm looking forward to eating my way around the Sushi & Ramen menu. Sorry I didn't include photos but I was so hungry I dove right in but they are very pretty rolls with...
