The Tokyo Club — Local services in Columbia

By far the best pinball club I've been in. After travelling the states; North Carolina, Missouri, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas.. played a few places.

There are only a few areas to nitpick.

One - It is a double edged sword having so many machines. They can be a little cramped, especially during the busy hours.

Two - they do not accept real currency, opting only for digital currency. Which is atrocious, being I once frequented this place multiple times a week. Until making the conscious choice of using cash versus plastic.

Many places offer lower costs for cash. A flat fee that is slightly less. Due to the fee attached to card transactions.

Even then, it is arguably one of the best clubs I've ever played. Machines are frequently maintained, staff is friendly. A vast selection of tables. Plus the "Afterlife". I watched some... symposium on Toxie the Avenger in there one evening.

The owner needs to put tables on second and third floor of that building....

This is hands down one of the best pinball bars I've ever been to in my life. And I've been seeking them out for over 10 years. They have some rarities and they have some well-loved decks from the '80s '90s 2000s and all the way up to machines released just a few days ago.

I probably spent 5 hours in there and I still didn't get to play all the machines that I was hoping to play.

The only single small complaint I've got about the place, is that the person who was working the counter didn't seem to know where the keys to the machines were in case one of them had a problem or got a ball stuck. But I only got one stuck the entire time, so it doesn't seem like a big...

Great place. Lot of amazing tables. Well kept. At times it can be very busy, almost shoulder to shoulder.
