One hell of a place! I got a really terrific Taco at the food truck on the way in. I definitely suggest that taco truck! As for logboat inside it's a very well done nice looking place with a very wide variety of beers and other things to drink as well. They have so much space outside to roam and play in the big open yard or at the picnic tables and they have a second bar outside as well and even a third bar upstairs inside in a big event room that you can rent out. Definitely a good place to go if you have kids you want to let play around and I'm guessing they allow dogs as well. Definitely a welcoming environment for any and everyone and definitely more than one thing to choose from for people with every kind of taste buds. The one thing that wasn't awesome was the price of the six packs that you can buy to go. And the one thing that wasn't awesome was the price of the six packs that you can buy to take home. Pretty much all logboat beer always costs $8.99 for a six pack in the grocery store or liquor stores but they're at the brewery they're charging $11 or more. I thought it would be the other way around and they would sell it cheaper there to get people to come in but I was wrong. Cheaper to buy it at the grocery store. But anyways go check it out it's pretty cool and make sure you try a taco at the food truck! Update: still awesome. A really great crowd there every time. It really seems to attract the best kinds of people. This time there was a hot dog stand instead of a taco truck. I didn't get a hot dog but I got some nachos, they were very basic but reasonably priced and there was all the toppings on the side of the cart to put on. Apparently kids call Hot dogs Glizzy's these days so the guy named his stand the Glizziness. I've never heard that term before but people really seem to like his hot dogs and he's got a bunch of other stuff too and if you tip him he'll give you a cool sticker. The sticker he gave me was a shark riding some other animal and I think he had a guitar or something. Go get a hot dog and a beer or a taco and a beer. Or they have wine and liquor as well. Maker's Mark is there...
Read moreAmazing doesn't even begin to describe Logboat. I lived in Columbia for 7 years and have since relocated to the Northeast. Hanging out on their patio and playing yard games during the summer was one of my favorite things to do. The beer is also amazing and they frequently have special releases. Their beer is lightyears above most of the beer in the Northeast/NYC area in my opinion. Bartenders are accommodating and friendly and just super chill people. When I moved from Columbia I regretted not buying any Logboat gear, so I ordered a t-shirt which came with a handwritten thank you note and free stickers. I really miss Columbia and this is a big reason why! You must check it out if you...
Read moreVisiting from Minnesota last week, I stopped by Logboat to join some friends outside. I love the large outdoor area; room for outdoor games, tables, chairs, picnics, and last Thursday featured a stage and excellent music. I had been in the brewery a few months ago and was able to sample all their beers. The boys have done their research and put together a real solid line-up of beers to meet all taste preferences. While Minnesota has done an outstanding job of promoting local brewing, they are missing out on what Logboat does for a total experience. I'll be back for a growler (or...
