This was a very nice and unexpected surprise to find. The food choices were numerous and all quite delicious. Parking was excellent in an upscale “becoming trendy” area of town. There was a steady stream of patrons coming and going with ample service to everyone. I didn’t take pictures this time, but will go again. Based on recommendations from a friend we set out the next day to locate the place and dine. A great choice! I will definitely try the numerous dessert options next time.
One cautionary item to the Management...beware of customer perceptions whenever customers enter the store and dining area with pet dogs that are clearly not certified Service or Guide Dogs. Allowing a customer to put their small French Bulldog on a counter where food is served or allowing a larger dog to jump up and place front paws on the counter where orders are taken isn’t a good way to win confidence in patron perception. I like dogs but wouldn’t allow them as pets to enter and be handled in the manner I witnessed. Just be cautious and careful...!
The Restroom was clean, tidy and had no odor or lacked paper towels or toilet tissue.
I will definitely go again. A bit pricey for lunch ($40+) for two people. But portion size and quality of food...

Everyday there is a new menu, on Sunday they have only one item (can only be meat, vegetarians beware) The one item is $20 and each drink is $6, so for a brunch of 2 it gets to $40 to $60. They even ran out of the stuff of that one meal and closed the restaurant when some people came in. Food is tasty (all my 3stars go for food), but not something amazing or worth the prize. So if you ever plan to go, check menu on their social media, if you go late they might run out or close as early bird catches limited quantity of food :)
Ambience is ok, as seen in picture, you kind of sit on counter, music is loud, so if you go with people, its hard to hear conversation. There is seating outside if weather permits, but not a pretty location on fay st to sit outside.
Location is very hard to find, there is no sign on fay st or on building to know where its located.
Mostly felt like "trying to be cool" rather than being cool on most of the stuff. Water tastes different, they just have it in glass jar like pool party, no sign or shelf to say if they are clean or not.
Plastic (recyclable) cutlery, not sure how it helps with some of...
Read moreJust for starters, I've been here twice and the girl at the counter just had a crap attitude. I don't go out to eat to get punked.
To the food: The menu is minimalistic in terms of the actual text- you don't know what the hell you're ordering without further inquiry. Only the girl with attitude doesn't really wanna talk about it. I had a 'black garlic biscuit' because that was the first thing on the list and I didn't dare ask any more questions. The biscuit had pesto, fried runny egg, honey, and some other crap on it. Biscuit was super dense and greasy, with zero fluff. Anyway, it was very heavy and basically made me feel gross. Pesto was a weird addition to a high-end breakfast sandwich and really didn't work.
A can of soda was, and I'm not exaggerating, seven bucks. That's a first for me. The fries were all leavings/crumbs, hardly any full french fries. See picture for reference- yes, I've eaten a bunch of the crumbs at this point but the container was entirely full of these roughly 1 cm pieces. I'll probably never go back, kind of hated it and the 4.9 rating on Google...
