Macy's — Local services in Columbus

This morning I was at Macys, second floor just browsing cosmetic section, this female associate asked me if I need help, which I thanked her and said no. then I moved towards perfume area, as I was passing by, I stopped and smell few perfume that normally I don't wear, just picked them up, smell and put them back down. As I was on escalator going down, I saw same associate was standing in perfume section and staring at me, and then I knew she was following me from where she was working. In that moment, I felt there is no different between staffs who work at Macys with people working at Wall mart that stopped you and ask for receipt just because you don’t look American. As I was looking around and picked up a shirt, I thought, what would I shop here that I was being treated like a thief, so I put the shirt down and walked out of Macys. I went straight to Marshals; I shopped worth of $300 clothing and other things. Why would I spend my money that I work hard to earn in a place that has no respect for others just because I look different? Macys should be ashamed of itself....

Let me start by saying that this location is nice and clean and you can easily find what you’re looking for but I don’t like shopping at this location very much because they lack good customer service. You’ll never find someone to cash you out and if you do they can be quite rude. On one occasion I went in to get shoes but there was only one person working in the shoes department so I waited for him to be done with the customers he was helping and when I asked him to help me find my size he goes “we’re sold out of that size” puts the shoe on the counter and walks away. On another occasion I went in to pick up an online order. I’m standing in line and this lady walks by and looks at me, I couldn’t tell if she worked there because she had on regular clothes and no name tag. So she walks away and goes behind the counter. Super weird. From the start I walked into the store with my kids just wanting to browse around and look I haven’t been to a macys in years, I started being followed by a black women and a blonde women… odd okay but then they started taking pictures of my kids and using their walkie-talkies; I picked out a shirt for my daughter and took her into the dressing room it was empty not any customers other than me why did the blonde women walk into the dressing room and tried to look into the room? It felt like every corner I turned there was employees following, look at purfume 2 women start asking questions normal wtv but then I walk to the shoes to look around 5 more people start watching… ew I left without buying anything and a Indian guy start taking pictures of my daughter and son I will be reporting and i will be talking to my lawyer.
