
BAD MANAGEMENT!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I spent an HOUR shopping and I couldnt find one item I was looking all over for and right before they closed, an employee told me that it was clear in the very back of the store in the LAST ISLE of course and I along with another customer got to the ONLY OPEN SELF CHECK OUT REGISTERS (Not 1 cashier working) and they were CLEAR ON THE OTHER SIDE of the building to just be told EXACTLY at 12:00 am that I couldnt check out and had to leave my entire cart there!!! (Actually, they had already locked the doors and I had to wait to get let out, and I got to my car at 12:02, so it was BEFORE 12:00 AM! )That is RIDICULOUS!!! They would rather spend all that time putting every single item back then take my MONEY???!!!! Not to mention it was a complete WASTE OF MY TIME and GAS!!! This is all just because they dont want to deal with their jobs even 1 minute past closing time???! It was EXACTLY 12:00am when they told me I couldnt check out and the lady who made me leave all my stuff behind was the SAME LADY who sent me clear to the BACK OF THE BUILDING to find what I was looking for!!! If she was in such a hurry for me to leave, maybe SHE SHOULDVE WENT AND GOT ME THE ITEM HERSELF!!! This used to be my favorite store but now I will spend my money at another store who will appreciate my money! I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR because I couldnt give 0! Have fun putting all that stuff back! I am SURE the owner would rather have taken my money then paid you EXTRA MONEY to stay over to do all of that!! BAD MANAGEMENT!! BTW⌠I am aware that when the registers shut off, they can be turned back on. I watched an employee do it before. Another âSuggestionâ⌠MAYBE IF THE EMPLOYEES DIDNT RUSH THE CUSTOMERS AND ANNOUNCE ON THE SPEAKER A VERY LONG MESSAGE AS THEIR COUNTING DOWN EVERY 5 MINUTES OF THE LAST HOUR, WE WOULDNT BE DISTRACTED AND ANNOYED AS WE ARE TRYING TO SHOP, FORGETTING WHAT WE ARE EVEN LOOKING FOR!!!! The hours state OPEN UNTIL 12:00am!!! That means if I pull up here at 11:55pm, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO WALK IN AND GET WHAT I CAME FOR! If you dont want to keep your store open until 12:00am then CHANGE THE HOURS!!!...
   Read moreVisited the under remodeling store this Tuesday 5-13-2025 around 1:30 PM. Parked in the very pot holed parking lot on the grocery east side of the store. Seeing how things were moved or moving I ask the mature door attendant for a store map. Looked at me like I just asked to borrow his car.
Iâd like a store department map please. More deer in headlights look. Most I got from him was we donât have maps. Really not sure he knew what this hard to understand word meant.
So I hopped on one of the Amigo powered shopping carts. Pretty nice. As I was familiar with the controls since it appears money is being saved by not replacing the beat up ones. That lasted half my shopping trip and I abandoned it hiking back to get another to retrieve my shopping and finish up.
Joined my partner just as she finished the agony of check out. Was so because the three employees at checkout were heavily discussing on of them being disrespected. So that was the main issue not taking care of the customer.
This was going on as we stood and loudly discussed the matter within hearing distance of a lead cashier who was standing at the next checkout the entire time.
Wanted to but some corn and could not locate the heavy duty yellow plastic corn bags. In fact there was no sort of any type of bag close by. Do I asked a near by manager and employee who looked at each other in confusion as to what is a corn bags. The employee finally said the used to have these at times while the manager guy said he was not from the store and only there for the remodel.
Also mentioned the door greater who did not in what a map was. Mr. Manager said heâd talk to someone.
In all a wonderful experience of how not to be professional nor be interested in the customers.
Of interesting note is that the remodel has made the store look very Target like and the aisles seemed to now be spaced further apart along with a number of areas of vast emptiness. Would say there are two thirds the shelving and product they used to have. Magazines appear to be...
   Read moreI had a very horrible experience at Meijer I have a service dog that I have to take with me. As soon as I walked into the store , a worker told me I had yo leave bc I couldn't bring my service dog into the store. My dog wears a harness that says service dog .
I told her that she was incorrect, that it's against the law to tell someone who had a service dog that they cannot bring it in.
I grabbed a cart and proceeded into thr store to grab the few groceries I needed. During this time I was harassed by 2 more employees, one being a store manager, who literally followed me like a creep . So I finally turned around and asked him why he was following me to which he asked if I had proof that my dog was a service dog. I told him Of course I do, but it's a violation.
Under Title III of the ADA, a place of public accommodation cannot require a person with a service animal to produce documentation, such as medical documentation or proof that the animal has been certified, trained or licensed as a service animal. It also cannot inquire about the nature or extent of a person's disability.
I told him how embarrassing it is to be harassed by 3 store employees in less than 20 minutes of being there. That my emotional health was being compromised .
I have gotten an attorney because this matter needs to be taken seriously. People like me should not be harassed and treated like anyone else. ...
