Hobby Lobby — Local services in Jefferson Township

This HL was a "relocated " from Brice Rd. I have shopped at any HL for awhile, since I learned about them. I'm an avid crafter, & have visited or shopped from every department. My opinion of pricing,product, cleanliness, stock, parking & a couple of other points that I take notice of in every store.

Cleanliness- every time I have been to a HL it has always been especially clean. No wrappers or any type of customers lost wrappers, etc. That impresses me. A giant, soundless broom that comes through occasionally to tidy? They most likely send an associate. Bathrooms are typically clean & tidy, & even smell nice.

●PARKING- This point is especially important for me. I am disabled and walking from mid lot up, will make me think twice about shopping. Also, I've been to 3 different HL, no wheelchairs. Not self powered, no electric. That will be the actual point that will discontinue my shopping at HL. Guaranteed.

Pricing- On their "furniture ", entirely too high. They claim that it is 30% off all the time. Possibly 30% off the price after the price was jacked up to compensate. Sometimes I find a needle in the HL Furniture haystack, highly unusual. Regular craft items pricing- I will go with average. It's a gambling game- sometimes it's not on sale & less cost than other craft chains. Sometimes products on sale meet same prices, and typically-one of the other Chain Craft stores is having a sale that puts HL prices in the running. Regarding cost- if you are crafting daily & need large quantities- I do research to find the best prices.

Products & Stock- HL wins this group by leaps & bounds. They have a wide selection of everything they carry. And I have found that if you're looking for something not very popular, difficult to find items, wider range of hobby parts-- HL wins this group as well.

They offer one ad a week, and one coupon that is always the same- 40% off a reg price item. Would be nice to see some bigger sales, more/different coupons. Run some of the sales to get the customer in the door..95% of those customers will buy something in addition to the sale item.

This has turned into a novel. I have a lot to say about anything that I do regularly or spend money regularly.

I honestly hope HL reads our ratings. Get feedback from consumers and find ways to grow or implement new policies.

Hi Even though I did not run into any of the sales associates except one things seem to be getting done! The store was very crowded this afternoon but the lines were going out pretty quickly!! Kristopher G was very professional! He asked me did I find what I was looking for and was looking me dead in my face where other associates would turn away!! I had a fall item and I wasn't sure what I would be paying for it even though it was 90% off and he new it was 90% off! Checked the price and ask did I want to purchase and I said sure! I said thanks for checking the price and he said no problem looking at me as he said it. He then finished may sale and ask would I like my receipt in the bag or with me and I said in the bag would be great! My fall item he asked would I like it in a bag and I said no I will carry it! He smiled and said have a nice day with a smile and I said you too!!! Very very nice young man! He was getting his customers in and out as the rest of the staff! Very nice and clean place. I shop there frequently....it may not be for big priced items but everything is always in place!! There may be something on the floor here or there but your place in Blacklick stays clean! Actually I would have to say Grove City and the one by Sawmill are pretty darn clean!! Don't mind shopping at...

I had requested to have a couple pictures framed in early August. The lady I initially dealt with was very patient. She was upfront with about some of the things I asked for were somewhat backordered.

I got a few calls over the course of the next few weeks. I picked up my one order and asked about the status of the other. The gentleman was nice and straight forward and said the other frame should be in the following week. He escorted me to the front to check out the one picture.

A lady called me today and said the other picture was done and I went in there to pick it up. There was a little bit of a wait, but nothing compared to many other places I have dealt with.

She was tending another customer, but quickly got my picture and took it up front and gave it to the checkout cashier. She was very polite and friendly, as well as the cashier who checked me out.

I wish all other business have the associates that HL does. Professional, polite, and proper! All while dealing with the chaos of the pandemic.
