Yesterday was my second time visiting within a two-month timeframe and needless to say, I left again without making a single purchase when I purchased my favorite pair of flats (Adrienne Vittadini) from there years ago. I should have known how this visit would unfold when I saw the "handwritten sign" notifying patrons of the store hours and mannequins in the window dressed with items the store doesn't sell.
The last time I visited I was told they had been painting and weren't officially open. So my question today is, "Why is it so hard to keep an 8.5-9 shoe size?" The saleswoman had the nerve to tell me that the shoe I requested had been restocked but she only had "small" sizes available. I'll continue ordering my Free People shoes online. Forget about supporting local businesses. I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything in particular (which I was) and she pointed me in the direction I was already in. She was NO help in her pink dress and sneakers (you'll remain anonymous).
Here's my opinion, when women such as myself are shopping for "flats" and you're a contemporary woman, no one wants a kitten heel. My late grandmother would have loved them. RIP I have decided that yesterday was my last visit especially when I've been supporting this establishment since its inception. WELL. You can only get a store credit for returns and I live out of town. The sales girl assured me that I could use my credit online so I started looking but was discouraged at my options.
I emailed the owner and she has been incredibly UNHELPFUL. Basically took my $200 and said "see ya". I have since emailed several times for updates/help finding a shoe on the site that would fit my big feet. Nothing. She doesn't even reply half the time. I've even sent specific shoes to her asking if she could order in another size of if it would fit a 10 comfortable. Nothing.

Pursona got right on top of my order (while I believe they were still closed for the holidays) and shipped my shoes out the day that I ordered them, and the total ship time will have been 4 days!
