Finally! I've been shopping at Aldi for years and am so happy they finally built one in Concord!
Make sure to bring your own grocery bags, and a quarter if you want a cart! You get the quarter back when you return the cart. It's a unique system they use to get their carts back, so they don't have to hire someone to collect them. That savings is then passed on to us, the customers! 😀
Their prices are outstanding. You will rarely find big brand company's products in Aldi. Although, I've seen Cheerios and Coke in there quite often. But these generic brands often taste really great and they are much cheaper than national brands.
Overall, Aldi has the best prices on groceries in Concord, but they don't always have everything you need. Their selection is much smaller than other stores. But because their prices are so great, the majority of my shopping will be done at Aldi and the rest at...
Read moreI am so thrilled Aldi's came to Concord! I am able to do about 80% of my weekly food shopping here for a hefty discount over the other grocery store options. I always do end up going to another store after to get the specialty items Aldi's doesn't carry but I save so much money I am not complaining. It's normally very quiet in there, and even when it's busy it's pretty laid back and calm. It's really clean and organized. If the cashier line gets long, don't fret, they are really quick since you bag your own groceries after the checkout is complete, so the line moves really fast. I totally recommend this store. I'm super happy with their produce and vegan options! They also have a lot of organic options and a whole aisle of household items and quality misc things for sale. It quickly became my favorite food shopping location. . .just don't forget a quarter to rent a cart and your...
Read moreMy overall opinion of this store is mixed. The prices are generally lower than other area competitors for the same or comparable items (although not always), but the selection can be extremely poor at times. I'm not only talking about the number of items stocked, but the availability of the items that they do stock. With some of the items I like to buy, it's just a luck of the draw situation whether or not it's there when I go, and it's gotten to the point lately where more often than not certain common dairy or pantry items just are not available. While I may still go every now and then to stock up on certain non-perishable items, unless price is one's only consideration, I think there are other better options in Concord, at least for my grocery...
