⭐For Bakery area. I bought three pieces of bread this morning 06/11/23 I don't know the name of it, one specific was hard, the others was okay. The price was high compared with what I got. I suggest to check very well when is time to put the new pan dulce, I understand that the business don't wants loose money and they still wants to sale product from the day before or product that still feels fresh. But the thing is that customer like me, never think to buy again in places like that. My family always shop at Las Montañas on San Pablo Ave. And never I tried a hard pan dulce like this. Some places don't lose customers because they know how to move the new and old product, and they halve the prices in the mornings or afternoons for the product that was not sold fresh. This place has almost everything you need to make your favorite Mexican dishes. Meat, cheese, prepared items, dried goods and fresh fruits and veggies.

True, it might be a small struggle to order some things if you don't speak Spanish, but the menus are posted bilingually and they get by.

The tortillas are legit (flour are better than corn if you ask me...) But they also sell their own masa and masa from La Finca in Oakland which is well known to locals from Oakland and this side of the bay.

Their restaurant / takeout in the back is pretty effing good too. Try their torta las Montanas, so good. So so good.

And they almost always have two - three cashier's moving the line quickly. Seriously a huge deal when you're running in for something quick. Keep doing what you're doing...

The store manager help me pick out the best Mangos Saturday morning. He even cut into one the Managos to show me inside. The staff at the fresh hot foods section are SUPER nice, good hot food. I like to order the Mexican Breakfast Burrittos (bacon). At the Cake Section - I ask for a fresh Mexican Rice Leche dessert - she make me one:) I like this with more Leche since the ones already made they put out are just too thick/dry, dont taste that great. The fresh one she mademe with more leche are far better ! Staff is SUPER NICE, Management is SUPER NICE. Vegetables are super fresh. Just wish I knew Spanish better, but most of staff are bilingual.
