If you’re a bride looking for wedding services, look elsewhere. I am only writing a review because the owner of this salon refused to refund the entirety of my deposit after the most disheartening and disappointing experience I have ever had in a salon. During my trial, the hair stylist told me my hair was highlighted “wrong” and did not have “enough layers because she needed more to work with to make the style actually look good”. On top of that, she and another stylist bad mouthed the stylist I currently see and have seen for 5 years. And the cherry on the top of this disaster?? I asked for a sleek, modern bun and my hair stylist failed to listen to my vision and my inspo picture. I ended up with a rats nest at the base of my neck. She even insisted on adding wispy pieces because “texture is all people want”. I didn’t want them and she insisted. I felt awful after this and the person doing my makeup also failed on communication - I asked for natural, no creasing and got foundation three shades too dark and product that was literally sliding off my face after an hour of wearing it. The person who tried to talk me into trying another stylist here was very professional, but considering this experience I would have preferred a full refund considering how belittled I felt by...

I cannot say enough good things about the team at simplicity. For my wedding, we had Rebecca and Meg for makeup and Desi for hair and all three of them absolutely killed it. They were so much fun and a great energy to have with me on my wedding day. They were organized and kept the schedule moving. I’ve never felt more beautiful truly. Rebecca and Desi both did amazing work on me. My makeup was flawless and I got compliments all night long. And my hair!! I felt like a bride goddess. The team did a great job of giving all my bridesmaids and my mom, stepmom and MIL a perfect look for each. Whether it was very light and subtle or a little more elevated. Owners are not polite, terrible customer service!! Much better and less expensive places in Concord.

I have in fact used this salon, over 6 months ago. I received a cut and color. I have never gotten my nails done and do not know what that comment is about. Just more frustrations. I was not impressed and apologize that it upset the owner that I put a review. Again just shows the customer service here. Every interaction has been bad unfortunately. Lucy I found a great salon in concord that also supports a local small business. I have never understood a need for an owner to place a petty response when they are unhappy with a review.
