I moved in a year ago after touring the complex almost with my kids. After the 3 of us toured the second apartment, we knew where we wanted to call āhome.ā After moving in, we visited the office almost daily for week, where I would grab a coffee (I didnāt have a coffee maker yet) and watch my daughter jet to the gym and back out while begging me to go for a swim. I almost immediately fell behind on my rent due to personal issues, compounded by COVID- it really was the perfect storm. The Management here is unlike any other place Iāve lived, they are compassionate, nonjudgmental, and a-class. Maintenance crews come out as soon as you call (unless itās something minor, which is expected). The complex is clean, people are kind, and the apartments are well kept. I recently met Nikki (I hope Iām spelling that right) and I canāt say enough about her. She is so incredibly uplifting and understanding. Sheās one of those people who you feel like youāve known for a long time...a pure, kind soul who is more than willing to listen, and offer advise from experience. She is a true gem. Iāve read the complaints on here, and to be honest, the VAST majority are petty, and elitist. Some of the comments regarding bugs- we live right beside a nice creek, Iām not sure that pest control can come to our apartments any more than they already do. At the first of a bug- I take out the trash, clean the kitchen cabinets, and sanitize the bathrooms. 90% of the time- the problem is taken care of! Lastly, itās beyond disheartening to hear people complain of āundesirable peopleā moving in. Youāre not speaking in code and this is not the mid 20th century despite what you see and hear on your favorite cable news network. You might want to lower your āvoiceā because āthose peopleā can probably hear you along with rest of the world. This is a great complex that seems a lot bigger than it is, neighbors look out for one another, and as a single woman, I feel much safer knowing that Iām surrounded by members of the Air Force among many other...

I have been a new tenant at Heights at Converse since June 2025. I will first start by saying that despite how nice a complex looks, the true living experience is dictated by those who manage it. You never know what you are going to get until you move in, and the introductory pleasantries have passed after signing your lease.
I have to say that the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure my move-in process went smoothly and that I was truly comfortable. I first met Tammy in the front office, who is one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever met. She enjoys her job, cares about her tenants, and it clearly shows. There were of course little move-in issues that needed to be resolved, but she was immediately on top of it and quickly resolved them. I donāt have enough words to express my gratitude to her and her assistant manager Jeanna. There is also the main manager, Desire, who I have not met yet, but clearly trusts and supports her team. Sufficient to say, I am very impressed.
The grounds are very clean, and people seem to pick up after their pets. Parking is also abundant. I havenāt had any issues with noise. Most of the neighbors are quiet, keep to themselves, but are generally friendly. I am also impressed with my unit. Little details like paint and trim were obviously carefully masked before any pre-move in touchup work was performed. Previous repairs were not just functional but completed with an aesthetic mindset to keep the apartment looking sharp.
Thank you to the whole team for making my move-in experience and first month a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWasnāt bad, but wasnāt great. When we first moved in we had a major bug problem (roaches & crickets). Roaches were there from what seemed like a previous owner or started traveling from other units. Cabinets werenāt caulked correctly and the bugs would nest behind them. Finally had exterminator come and they charged us for bugs that were there before and for crickets coming in through the vents. Bug problem slowly subsided. Almost impossible to get ahold of the front desk. Could be the property managers not hiring enough people to accommodate the amount of residents. The people at the front desk were nothing but nice once you were able to get ahold of them. They were good at trying maintain pet cleanup around the complex even when some residents didnāt comply with the rules. The maintenance scheduling needs a lot of help and is very inconvenient for some families. There was never a set time when they would come after a request was put in. We had pets and they recommended you crate them when maintenance came but there was no telling when they would come. No way was I going to keep my dogs crated until maintenance came because it could have been a few days until they did. And they only came during office hours so if you worked during then you couldnāt be home when they came. There are no speed bumps or stop signs so cars are frequently zooming around the bends and parking lots. Garbage constantly piled up. Wasnāt a great experience but it was a place to stay and the accommodations were nice and for the most part the outside...
