Came upon the San Antonio Model Railroad Association by accident while working on Toepperwein Rd. Most visitors are also not aware of this gem located here & that it is one of the longest miniature railroad tracks in Texas. Admission is Free. A guided tour is available. For those desiring more information, a library room is open for your use. Impressed with all the details of rail/train construction, displays and care by the museum staff to make this a must see for all train lovers. If I remember correctly, the train travels on rails from San Antonio thru New Braunfels to Fort Worth. Highly recommend to all, especially families. Make a 1/2 day +/- out of a visit to this mini train musuem at no...
Read moreMy wife and I dropped in on Sunday July 1st. I can't emphasis enough how friendly the folks at this club are. First off, there was no entry fee. Then we got a 45 minute tour of all the trains and the huge set pieces. The set peices have so much detail. All HO scale. But they did have some larger trains on display. Very clean. Very family friendly, everyone was welcoming and had a smile on their face.
Thank you again for the...

I suggest everyone should go here and expecially tried to make a donation to keep this place open. They even gave me information to other places and events. I will...
