Taqueria casa Jalisco on Toepperwein Converse TX. February 13 2022 around 7:15 pm my husband and I bought two burritos de asada beef from the drive up window, we found glass in one of the burrritos, broke as I chewed, they say they have no idea how that happened, no manager on site, cook not allowed to speak to customers, not a safe place to eat. I asked for my money back. Nobody took responsibility for the negligence, won't be going there again, too dangerous!
11/28/23 Once again a really bad experience!!!! Just to clarify, I'm not a customer anymore! but, had to order caldo de res for a 91 year old elderly customer at the drive thru. The lady was with me and said to me, , please ask him to add extra vegetables, when I did it , the man at the window was rude and said , I know this customer, she always complains,. I said, well sometimes I see that she doesn't get what she asked for. His answer was, TELL HER TO GO TO BUY FOOD SOMEWHERE ELSE AND NEVER COME BACK. .I asked him, what happened with, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT ? He replied, that is not true. I told him many times that is true, and that could mean that the quality of the food you offer is not good anymore. I told him about my previous bad experience finding broken glass in my food. He denied that it actually happened, I told him you know what, I'm going to have to writte another comment, and he said with sarcasm, HO, LOOK AT ME, I'M SHAKING! Read moreTo start out the food was decent, the potatoes were undercooked, and I got a little sliver of steak for my steak and eggs. But the reason why I’m giving this “Taqueria” a one star review is because at the end of my experience here when I was going to check out to pay for my meal, the server who served my table swiped my card, printed out the reciept then continued to explain to me how to fill out the reciept (like im incompetent) pointing at the “tip” line and looking at the reciept as I filled it out making me feel like she was expecting some great tip for othe questionable service they gave, and the “ok” food I had recieved. I usually am very generous tipper, I had left her $7.00 on a $30.49 ticket which is over 20%. But this experience made me very uncomfortable, made me question the trustworthiness of the establishment and how they process their payments, and definitely is making me think a second time before I go back there. The customers that come into a dining establishment are not forced to tip, and it is definitely is not a requirement,as I worked as both a server and cook in the food and beverage industry for 7 years and I know that to get a good tip you must do a good job. But never did i ever pressure anyone into tipping beyond what they wanted to and thats what I felt what was being insinuated and conveyed to me today by the actions of the server. Read moreWe went through drive thru and got a lunch special that came with a tea. When we got the receipt we noticed that they charged us for a to go cup!! Im in the drive thru! Why am i getting charged for a togo cup!?! My husband order two taco salads. They were suppose to come with fajitas chicken, lettuce pico de gallo, sour cream. He got home with our order and upon opening we found shredded chicken and im not sure if you could say there was any bean cause the were under tortilla bowl. We called them to let them know the had messed our order. We were on hold to talk to a manager for a while...we got passed around 3 times before we talked to the "manager"...They said they looked at the vidoe and argued with my wife that the chicken was fajita chicken and it just looks like shredded chicken. I not a rocket scientists but fajita chicken should be cut with a knife and not be pulled apart like shredded chicken. This is not the first time this has happened to us...they dont care about good customer service because if they did, they would have tried to fix it or at least apologize...but they didnt...we try to avoid eating there because the customer service is the worst we have ever had. And the taco salad is definitely not worth the 8 bucks! It doesnt even come with rice and inwould even say it comes with beans...they place them at the bottom of the plate to hold ot in place...I dont recommend eating there. Just go to TC if you want...
