I really appreciate when a restaurant is both cute and delicious. The branding and paint job is very well done, but on to the most important part.
In our party of 7, everyone loved their food; we were all members of the clean plate club. Every single bite tasted homemade and fresh. The biscuits were so fluffy and soft, the hashbrowns perfectly cooked, even my over easy eggs didnât have any overcooked edges. I also think itâs well priced for the portion sizes and taste (but Iâll admit I wasnât the one paying the bill lol). We didnât leave overstuffed, nor did we feel like we were missing anything. I personally had the brunch bowl, and I loved it. I look forward to trying one of their other dishes next time around!
The parking lot is a bit tight in general, so carpool if youâre able to. Itâs also good to know so youâre mindful when entering/exiting the lot. We arrived right after opening on a Sunday and were immediately seated. Our server was great about following up and making sure we got everything we needed, and the owner came by and checked on us as well. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly!
4/7 of our party was also 65+, with some being hard of hearing with aids, and Iâd say the noise level was almost a little too loud for conversation once it got busier, but it wasnât bad overall. The music was also great, like 90âs-2000âs hits, but also not overwhelming.
Overall, I highly recommend The Brunch Spot! I look forward to...
Read moreWe were first to arrive for dine in. Coffee was cold, not even luke warm so I had asked for another. Even the table next to me had to ask for another cup. No problem but that was weird as they had just opened. Had to ask for sugar (packets), as they were not stocked at table. For having just opened, that needs to be checked. Creamer is handed to you loosely, you may wanna at least being it out in a small dish. Food came out hot except the potatoes, but we just dealt with it after dealing with coffee issue, you become annoyed and start wondering if the rest of the food is gonna be up to par. Luckily everything else was warm/hot. My omelet was hot and fresh and my husband enjoyed his over easy eggs and sausage platter. I had a biscuit and noticed I needed a knife as you donât receive one with the silverware pack you get, but again, annoyed, went ahead and used my fork bc these are details that should be already thought of. We both ordered dishes that may have needed a knife depending on the person, so not sure why it isnât already included. I had an omelet that I cut with my fork and my husband had the big link sausages. Food tasted good, so that topped the issues off. We hope to try again in the future! Waiter (ownerâs son) was great, except instead of having a blank reaction and no words when I complained about the coffee lol. Just a little work on customer service skills but no worries, I think he was a...

Such a gem! The Brunch Spot has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in San Antonio. From the moment we walked in, the homey and welcoming vibe hit usâin the best way. Itâs cozy, casual, and has this charming mix of comfort and cool.
The service was top-notchâeveryone seemed genuinely happy to be there and it really showed. You could tell the staff got along well, which made the atmosphere even better. Big shoutout to Ashley, who went above and beyond by bringing toys to our table for the kidsâthey loved it!
The food feels like a home-cooked meal made with love, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality. Theyâve also got a cute little cafe bar inside where coffee, mimosas, and sweet tea come out super fast.
It does get busy, especially on Sundays, so if you canâmake a reservation to skip the wait. But if thereâs a line, donât worryâthey have comfy outdoor seating and free lemon or fruit-infused water while you wait (yes, unlimited!).
If youâre looking for a relaxing, feel-good brunch spot with great food and even better peopleâthis is it. Highly...
