Bill Miller BBQ — Restaurant in Converse

My 3 yr old son only needed to use to bathroom for just a moment being stuck in 5pm traffic. Your restaurant other than the Walmart across the light is the only place open that I trust to take my son to go to the restroom in such a desperate manor in the midst of the covid pandemic. I completely understand the fact that the employees including the managers have to act in behalf of the company choices to not open the doors to its customers, as being a manager of the biggest grocery chain in Texas. But im sure as some of your employees including owners will understand having a 3 yr old who needs to use the restroom in rush hour traffic is a very hard situation to be in. If I had told my customers that their son's or daughters can't use a restroom in the store, even with or without wearing a mask, I'm 100% sure I would not be working for that company anymore. So again I completely understand that your employees only follow the direction given to them from you the owners but with all other small businesses struggling to actually be open with covid going on and their dining rooms actually being open (even at 50% capacity), I would've thought by now your business would be open by now and not just through your drive through. Otherwise my son would not have had to pee inbetween my car doors in your parking lot in embarrassment because my son couldn't hold it long enough to make it to a proper restroom. I guess Im just disappointed to find out that your restaurant still isn't open yet with most business...

This is a great place to eat, as long as it's not on a Monday. I eat here regularly and enjoy this place. But today I went here around 7:30pm and spent 35 min. In the drive through line with 6 or 7 cars ahead of me. Initially I just figured it was busy and each car had large orders. But that did not look to be the case when I finally go to the front. They got my order wrong and it seemed they gave the car in front of me the wrong order. Possibly my order. They kept staring at the car as she drove away down the road. The staff was very ignorant of their customers presence. No communication about why I was waiting so long or even that it would take a while. I ordered 1/2 lbs of brisket and it took them 10 min. To change the 1/4 lbs to a 1/2 lbs. But all the employees seemed to be having fun and laughing while me and the other cars waited. The drive through girl even had her back to the window the whole time talking to another employee and enjoying herself. After 10 min. And a long line of cars behind me it seemed they forgot they had a drive through. I even had to think to get their attention to remind them of all of us waiting. But finally, after a 35 min. Wait in their line, with frozen groceries in my trunck, I got my food. Without any aknowledgement of the wait. Again, it really is a great place any other day. But Monday evening, it's an entirely different mood, service, and staff. Real...

Normally i love this place but this time was not the same experience. I don't know why it was different i dont think it should have been but i guess that's my opinion, lol. They didnt have 90% of what i was trying to order. I was surprised to be told they were out of hashbrowns or what they call their potatoes my family has always called potatoes like that fried potatoes but they were out of a staple item. Then it just went from there i asked for other things the drive thru kept saying hold on and came back each time with were out of that. So i was upset but still nice said okay thanks gave a great night and left. Couldn't figure out how they were going to get through the night with so much out. So last night we didnt end up eating here. But normally its been very good always hot some times the drive thru line is slow and takes awhile but not always and its usually worth the wait especially when ur tying to do a treat for dinner and skip cooking. So in general i would recommend especially the fried potatoes and sausage with their bbq sauce on a tortilla its the best if they have it. And the chopped sandwiches are great and brisket. Want to try the spare ribs but...
