Conway, AR location: I ordered gluten-free crust, and it took quite some time to make. I had three other people in my party, and four other people made their pizza AND RECEIVED THEIRS FROM THE OVEN before mine was even made.
I waited quite a while for my pizza, as my family was already half-way finished with theirs before my husband went to check to see where mine was. It was then discovered that it had been boxed and given to another man, (who had already walked out the door and reached his car). A young woman ran out the door and asked the man to return the pizza, I assume. She returned to the counter and went to hand me the pizza! I stated “no, I want another one.” Robert stated that I would have to return to the end of the line (which had 5 other people in it), and they would make me another one. I had already waited quite a while, and his statement made me angry. I asked to speak to the manager, and he thumped his chest and said, “Right here.” I told him that it was illegal to hand food out and then try to reserve it. His response was, “oh, well."
The law prohibits food-service operations to reuse any food, utensils, or containers that have been in contact with diners.
I said that I wanted a refund because my family was already finished eating, and it took too long to start with. Also, this is my third time to visit this location. The first time, my pizza was served burned, the second time, I was charged for a “build your own,” when it was a one-topping, and now this time, was the worst of all.
A another younger woman refunded me in cash even though I had paid with a card. I returned to the table while my family finished eating, and that same young lady approached our table. She stated that we would have to return to the register to return the cash because “it’s going to mess up my system.” She stated that she’d like to refund the card instead. After the rudeness already experienced, I really didn’t feel like complying. But we were going to comply. My husband was looking at the receipt, when she returned less than 30 seconds later. This time she said, “You have to come now.” My husband said that he’d go when he felt like it, and she responded, “This is about our other customers. This isn’t about you.” My husband asked who was the real manager because we knew it wasn’t Robert. The young lady stated, “She’s at the register.” My husband went to the register, and when he asked to speak to the manager, their response was, “She’s gone for the day."
He went to the register where apparently (I guess) the real shift-manager identified herself. It was the same person that ran to the car to retrieve my pizza that was OUTSIDE WITH SOMEONE ELSE! This experience was by far over the line. None of this experience was acceptable in any way, and I personally believe these people need to be seriously reprimanded if not terminated.
I welcome and expect the opportunity to speak with a corporate representative, the franchisee, as well as the real...
Read moreWorst experience ever. We ventured out on Halloween and went to Blaze since we received a coupon in the mail for a free 11’. We had never been there before and I told the First Lady we encounter that. She was trying to explain the process but was confusing us more and practically whispering. We then get to the next section and they have us chose the toppings for the 11’ but not the large. I made it clear I was getting them Togo. We then finally get to the paying spot and that’s when they wanted us to order the large pizza. No one could tell me the prices or how that worked. I confirmed at the beginning of my ordering process that the large one topping was $9 something with the original crust and she said yes. When it was time to pay I was charged almost $16, Arkansas taxes are high but not that high. When I looked at the receipt I was charged $13.95 for a large one topping pizza, online it’s $9.95 and I was going to order online but You can’t use the coupon online even though we are in a pandemic and most places are letting you order inside, honestly had I ordered online my experience would have been better, I also didn’t want one pizza to be cold so I was like might as well just go in and order both. Since we couldn’t order our large pizza until payment time out 11’ was done and our large was just starting to cook which resulted to a cold pizza and hot pizza. THEN to make it even worse when we got home our large pepperoni pizza was burnt on the bottom, I would have never thought to check the bottom of a pizza! It was burnt but soggy it was weird. We did not receive extra cheese even though that’s how we ordered it. I just can’t wrap my mind around that that’s how you’re supposed to order your pizzas. Like if you came in and wanted 2 large pizzas and no 11’ pizzas you’re telling me you have to wait in line and watch people order their pizza just to get to the cashier to order your large pizzas. I understood that large crust isn’t prelate onto pans like the 11’ ones but you can’t have your pizzas done at the same time? Idk poorly thought out process and they rush you so you don’t even have time to figure out...
Read moreThis is my go to pizza spot. Think Subway, but with pizza. pick your dough, all your toppings, and then in 5 minutes you have a piping hot pizza just the way you want it. They have several types of cheese, tons of meats and veggies to choose from, and you get an 11" pizza for a pretty decent price. Everything is super quick from the time you enter to the time you get your food. The Blood Orange Lemonade is one of my favorites. I have 3 complaints. 1.) they don't have the multiple aqua fresca flavors anymore, 2.) They no longer have straws, basically now you get a sippy cup lid. 3.) The place is loud!! You can barely hear yourself think in there! They need to put some acoustic panels on the walls. Still thought, I will endure the decibels and drink my Blood Orange Lemonade from a sippy cup while getting 3rd degree burns on the top of my mouth (because I am too impatient to wait even a few more minutes for this amazing pizza!) If you haven't tried it , go. They also have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten...
