DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Conway

I tried multiple times to get the attention of the footwear department guy all to no avail. It was clearly evident that he was trying to avoid me. I had three boxes of Nikes in my hand and wanted to ask if they might have one of the pairs in a different size in the back. I finally made eye contact with him and he literally turned on his heel and walked the other way to help a more deserving family. I literally tossed the shoes and went to Kohl's for the same exact shoes and much better service. If you're not that specific white southern looking person or super athletic looking, go somewhere else. This place is consistently awful. Absolutely the worst, most disrespectful group of “kids” running this place ever. Not that they will miss my small contribution to the Conway, AR location, but after the way I was approached & talked to by 3 kids who are young enough to be my youngest kids, I’m hoping my feedback will be a warning to others. These folks don’t care about you or whether or not you shop here or not. In fact, it was pretty evident to me that they’d rather you not be there at all. It’s best to go across town to Wilkinson’s or around the bend to Academy. If you’re in the market for golf equipment, my recommendation is to go to Arkansas Golf Center off 286. I don’t usually leave bad reviews and I believe this is my first! Horrible customer service. Shopping for shoes and not one person was there to help. Boxes had no organization. Unbelievable mess. Then when I finally decided to leave a manager was in the middle of the store just having a chit chat with 3 staff. I noticed several others on the way out that were just standing around and avoiding people. If you prefer shopping alone may I suggest Amazon. That way you don’t have to dig through a very unorganized mess to find something. Good luck...
