Very unpleasant experience. The nurse took my husband back for a surgical procedure around 6:00a and then I never heard from anyone again until they called me to pick him up outside at 7:45a. Everyone else in the waiting room (significant others/person who would drive the patient home) were all taken back before any surgical procedures started and then were told/given information once the procedure finished to let them know the surgery went well. This lack of communication by a surgical center is very concerning and disappointing. If some of these employees are this apathetic when it comes to communication and informing loved ones about their patient, then what else are they disengaged from...

I was a nurse for 47 years. I found this surgery center in Coppell delightfully clean, organized well-run and I had a nurse that had started there several months ago who was absolutely delightful. Her name was Mary and I can't tell you what a wonderful human being she is. My experience other than the fact that they were an hour behind was absolutely delightful. I love the anesthesiologist. My husband was not allowed to go back with me to get ready for the procedure or come back after it was over. While waiting for my procedure in pre op almost 2 hours I did not have a call light and had to wait for someone to walk by my closed curtain to ask to go to the restroom. After procedure I was in recovery and was woken up and told I had to leave. It has been 30 min since I was taken to recovery. I could hardly stand up and had to have help.
